We had nice and interesting stay. The house is so cosy and full of beautiful details. Sue is the best host ever. She told us everything about the amazing house and is truly the nicest person on earth. She gave us a warm welcome. We could have talked to her forever.

thank you so much Esther and Bernard ! your place is just Haven ! so beautiful and peaceful! we wished we have stayed longer to enjoy the company of the Antilopes and birds living around the cottage ! The cottage is very clean and spacious , with lovely bedrooms and very clean bathrooms too, a nice patio for eating outside, and plenty of games too. The unit had everything we needed - plentiful of space and beds plus it has all the amenities listed Susan was also really responsive during our stay, making sure we felt at home and had everything we need. Lize was a great host and her property is gorgeous and perfect for a small family. The swimming pool helped so much with our two year old and his built up energy after driving 9 hours. The bed was extremely comfortable and felt like a 5 star hotel's quality! We will definitely be back to enjoy the private boma (very big) boma as we arrived too late to enjoy it during this stay. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Kerrie’s place was extremely beautiful! The place was very calming and therapeutic. Waking up to the beautiful animals was a show-stopper! Pictures don’t do the place justice! It’s even more stunning in person. Kerrie’s communication was out of this world! She contacted us hours before our arrival as we were driving from other provinces. She updated us on the weather and cautioned us about the recent floods. Check-in was super easy. Kerrie kindly waited for us even though we arrived later than anticipated. She showed us around the beautiful house, and was also kind enough to offer our parents a free stay in their flat as we were a big family. With Kerrie’s great personality, prompt responses and scenic surroundings, I 100% recommend staying here.

A wonderful spot if you are looking for a remote & peaceful but still very comfortable stay. We try and find out of the way spots that showcases the best of the beautiful SA countryside and Lindys place is certainly one of those. The home is very secluded and private with excellent finishings too. If you are an astronomy or star-gazing enthusiast then this is a highly recommended location as the nigh sky is unbelievably awesome here. Literally horizon to horizon...

We came for a night on the way down to the cape… loved it so much that we came back for 2 nights a week later on our return to Pretoria, Hennie is more than a host - he is our friend and we can’t wait to come stay with him again … We will be back next year for sure! I had a great Elrie's place, clean and prestine, the bed is comfortable! The house is adequately equipped and the kitchen is well stocked with basic necessities. The yard is green and well manicured, looks amazing. Staff very helpful, clean and responsive. I am staying there again next week if I find it free for booking.

Awesome place - renovated well , takes u back in time with the retro interior - has everything u need plus a beautiful outside garden with a braai spot u der the big oak tree . And the our Kar pub is 50m away with great food . One of the few places I have come back to and will def return - a historic jewel in the Karoo

Amazing host! Upon arrival we got Welcome bowl of fruit and biltong. Unexpected but much appreciated.

Anja, Braam's wife, was very warm and welcoming. She helped us manage the dogs well so there was no anxiety about that! She even brought us booking water for coffee this morning when there was load shedding! Braam shared a G. Maps Pin location which made directions and communication very easy. Peaceful place in a beautiful setting. Baie dankie, ons sal terug wees!
