Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Xeropotamos

The most meaningful stay during our Greece honeymoon. My husband and I enjoyed this beautiful place located in a small village. Choosing to stay in smaller villages compared to the main cities really pays off! You get to see the traditional houses and experience the slow pace of the islands. This house reminded me of my grandfather’s home which made me feel very sentimental. The home is beautifully renovated with personal touches and antique decor. You have everything you need plus extra blankets, towels and more. We were greeted personally by Georgia, her baby and her mom- who made us lemon cakes which was very generous. And also some wine and chocolate from Georgia. To say that she was generous was an understatement! Georgia is an amazing host and always greets us as if she were a friend! She’s very proactive and has lots of recommendations which made decision making a little easier (my husband and I were struggling making decisions on where to go so this was a massive help!).

Thank you for the wonderful time in this cute house. We enjoyed the quiet and private atmosphere. We especially liked the many places in the garden and the fantastic view of the sea. Check-in was completely problem-free and our hosts were always available. The kitchen is not that great. Dishes and cutlery were dirty and the dishwasher was broken. The beds are not optimal for tall people. All in all, however, a great airbnb.

I really enjoyed staying here. The view, the tranquility and in general the apartment was a dream to be in. I felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Always happy to come back. Highly recommend this property.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. If you aren’t sure if you should stay here or not, I promise you will love the place. It’s beautiful and the host was there to help me and answer questions. He even came to meet me when I got lost so I could follow him to the house! The inside of the house is absolutely gorgeous. The host left us inside enough food, snacks, and beverages to last a week, which was such a pleasant surprise. I recommend renting a car as access to the city is not within walking distance but even in the neighborhood there are two small restaurants and a little convenience store practically right outside the gates of the house. Heraklion is fun and Crete is a beautiful place to rent a car and visit sites. Even balos beach is doable in one day from there if you plan ahead. Then there are other beaches much closer and easier like Voulisma to the east. Or you can take a beautiful drive through the mountains and eat a great with w a view. Much to do! House is perfect!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Manoli’s! The house was stunning, nestled in a beautiful village that made our two-night stay even more special. The property was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was excellent, maintaining great communication. We also loved the nearby restaurant, which was superb and added to the overall experience. We truly had a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

An oasis of calm close to the seafront, harbour and old town. The house is beautifully renovated and as all that you need for your stay. Communicating with the owners was excellent & we got an instant response. It would have been helpful to have a bit more information about services in the immediate area especially grocery shops. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend to others.

Great appartement near the centre but in a very quiet street. Very good size with air conditioning and a little outside terrace for sitting in the evening (shared with the flat across). The only slight problem is the fridge turns off when you leave the flat. But great place, nice and clean :)

Matthaios's place is a really nice and well equipped private house with private garden, very-very close to the beach, in a calm and quiet environment, we liked it here a lot, came with a baby, she had super nice naps :) We got a lot of help from Matthaios, any question I had he responded accurately.

We had an exceptional stay for three in this place in Crete. The apartment is cozy, very comfortable, and impeccably tidy. Everything was perfectly clean, which made us feel immediately comfortable. The proximity to the pool added extra comfort, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. Special mention to Maria, the host, who was incredibly friendly, proactive and always available to meet our every need. Thanks to her, our stay went smoothly. I highly recommend this listing for a pleasant and carefree stay in Crete!

Blue Key Villa is outstanding. Situated high above the coastline it has spectacular views from almost anywhere in the Villa. Manos and his team are excellent and are able to provide recommendations and services for use in Villa. We used their recommended chef, Spyros, one evening, and it was brilliant. Communication is clear, and responses received promptly. Blue Key is an exceptional property.

Hands down the best accomodation we have stayed at on Airbnb. Incredible villa with the most amazing views and facilities and just down the road from the quintessential Crete town of Bali. The hosts were also available all day to help with any questions and super helpful with recommendations for the area. Absolutely loved this place! If you are reading this review, book it!

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

Our stay at Mama La Roosa Villa was a dream. Petros was an outstanding host who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a relaxing stay in Agia Pelagia. The villa was stunning - it had gorgeous ocean views from every angle, beautiful landscaping, and a modern design with every amenity needed for our trip. The villa felt quiet, private, and safe. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning. We enjoyed the pool and backyard dining area so much that we decided to skip the beach! The warm hospitality from Petros is what made the stay - he arranged reservations at the best local restaurants and wineries. We felt that we were able to truly experience Greece thanks to our stay with Petros at Mama La Roosa Villa. We wish we could stay longer and can’t wait to return. Thank you Petros for an unforgettable experience!

Amazing villa in a great location. Walking distance to Ligaria beach which has some great restaurants. George was so helpful with recommendations and made sure everything was perfect for our stay.

Great place, must be even better in the summer because it‘s so cool in the house. Awesome that the small pool can be heated. Perfect for families! Stavros is so easy to talk to and answers very fast.

Very nice house, in the middle of olive trees. Quite place in the nature but with a car you are fast at the beach, small town or to other villages. The next village is very close and has a small beautifull center with restaurants. We got nice presents (local products) when we arrived. The Hosts are very friendliy and helpful.

Look no further! Aura Villa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The villa is very spacious and had everything we needed. We almost didn’t want to leave! Make sure you visit George’s restaurant down the street. The owner George and his wife are so kind and the food was delicious.

We spent a week at Margarita's house. It's a perfect match for the listing. It's a house "in its juice", but in an absolutely amazing setting, quiet and finally quite close to the places to visit. Margarita was a very kind, welcoming and caring host. She lives on the lower floor of the house, but remains very discreet. Her home has totally independent access. The view from the main room of the house is fabulous, same from the deck and pool. We spent long hours contemplating the hills, the sea and the sunsets. We recommend this place for its unique side. Even though the house is a little old-fashioned, it's nice to live in and comfortable.

Charming place! Aristeidis and his wife Marina are very polite, attentive and hospitality people! During all our rest they were ready to answer any our questions and give advice and help! The villa is very beautiful and comfortable! It is well equipped with different devices! From the second there is charming view all around! The private swimming pool was very clean and gave us possibility to enjoy private rest! The size of the pool is enough even for the big company! Sakalani is very cosy village with beautiful delicious taverns! There are many different olive and grape farms near the village! The villa is situated only 10 minutes from Heraclion! Definitely I and my family are very thankful to Aristeidis for our wonderful rest and time that we spent on his Vila! I strongly recommend this place for the vacations on Crete!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is a lovely, spacious studio apartment with good amenities whilst being very private and has lovely views from the terrace of both countryside and sea. A car is highly recommended, though the local beach, marina and tavernas are within a 25 minute walk. With easy parking, it is a good base to explore the island, whether you are looking for the vibrant shopping and historical culture of Heraklion, or the peace and tranquility of local mountain and coastal villages. Marina is a great host, always there to answer and help with any questions or issues. The apartment is great and such a perfect location. Ligaria was brilliant, not too busy when we visited in June. We took a tour to Matala which we loved. A very special place. I’ve already recommended Ligaria and this apartment to a friend. The local people were also very friendly and polite. I’d come back again for sure :)

This home on a hillside outside of Ano Kalisha is spectacular. Ourfamily of six people had more than enough room in this spacious, very well-appointed home. Everything about it is first rate, and the location couldn’t be better. It sits on a hill overlooking hills festooned with olive farms and vineyards, with the sparkling blue Mediterranean providing background. A very large pool, perfectly maintained, will draw you and your family into the water all day. Yet you are only 15 minutes from Heraklion and Knossos. Also, Aris is the perfect host. He drove us to the house when we got to Ano Kalesha and was always on call for any questions that we had. I cannot recommend this house highly enough. I know that you will find that your stay here is one of your best memories of Crete.
