The lodge and its hosts are amazing! Our only complaint is that our stay was too short to fully appreciate all that this lodge had to offer! My husband and I and our 8 children (ages 22, 20, 20, 18, 16, 15, 13, and 11) were visiting grandparents in the area. We had a fabulous time hiking the trails, playing poker, having a campfire, playing basketball, fishing in the creek, cooking in the kitchen, visiting with family, and taking in the amazing views. Several of the kids even said that it was good that the place didn't have great cellular service. The house is spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked for any kind of cooking. We would highly recommend this home and plan to stay again soon!

Max Meadows property is centrally located to parks and other attractions. Home was spacious and clean. Not far from Virginia Tech whee we celebrated graduation. Had fun hiking at Claytor Lake and New River. Anika, our host, was very responsive and provided accurate instructions and suggestions for local restraints and activities. Enjoyed our stay and would return in future.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Wytheville, VA look no further. This was a super place to stay and especially if you are traveling with a pet. From the fresh baked cookies and water bottles in the fridge everything made this feel like staying a at friends place rather than just a homeowner. The instructions were clear and the check in and check out process was simple. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again in the future.

Our stay at this cabin was wonderful. Very peaceful and somewhat isolated back in the woods. The living room sofa and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Not far off the interstate and easy to find per the instructions to use GPS coordinates. Would love to stay there again!

We had such an amazing time during our visit! The location is very private and decently close to town. There are plenty of deer and other wildlife in the area. The gravel driveway does get steep closer to the cabin, but there are other spots very close by if you have trouble. I must mention that my niece accidentally left behind a stuffed animal her mom had given her. The owner contacted me after our stay and went above and beyond to make sure it was returned. Bonus points!! Thank you for a great experience! We definitely plan to return.
