Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Wythe County

We couldn't have asked for a better stay at The Dairy Barn. Both of us and our dogs were relaxed and loving every minute of the amazing views and yard! Hiking and other amenities were very close and Rebecca, the host, had everything covered perfectly! We cannot express enough how wonderful our stay was! We will absolutely be back again!

Patty’s place is a beautiful, peaceful cabin right on the New River Trail. We booked this cabin because it was on the trail and had a large fenced in yard for our two dogs. The cabin was very clean and had everything you need in the kitchen! Nice dishes and pots and pans. The huge outside porch was perfect for eating lunch and dinner while the dogs played in the yard. It is a peaceful paradise! Patty always answered my questions so quickly!! Thank you Patty for sharing your cabin with us, we hope to be back this summer! Boo & Bella said thank you too! Woof woof!

Charming house that truly felt like staying at Grandmom’s in the country. Large enough for a bigger family, 2 small families or a small group of friends. Lots of room to spread out. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of what would be needed for cooking meals. The surrounding area was beautiful. Perfect peaceful scenery for sitting on that front porch swing listening to the birds and watching calves chasing one another on the hillside. Freshly baked brownies were a thoughtful treat waiting for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay again.

The prefect place for a getaway. Handicap accessible and easy to find. The cabin was peaceful and pristine. We loved all of the thoughtful little touches that Jessica added.

This airbnb is the perfect getaway. My partner and I spent valentines weekend here, and even though the weather was far from ideal, we had an incredible time. Marion is only a 30 minute drive and has all kinds of fun places to shop and see. Not to mention, the people are so kind. The place is very cozy and a great place to just hang out. While it does have two bedrooms, the place is extremely small, so just keep that in mind. A few things to note: We had no cell service for the last 20-30 minutes of the drive until able to connect to the wifi. Also, i am not sure if noted, but definitely bring a 4wd vehicle. The roads are very steep, and if it rains you could find yourself in a predicament. The house is also completely in the woods, so we did find a few spiders inside during our stay. Also, while it is an easy drive, the closest towns are ~30 minute drive away. This was truly one of the best little vacations we’ve had. so relaxing, so fun. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Awesome place to be and get away from folks. I saw reviews about people worried about a few stinkbugs... i wanted nature and got nature. A couple of honeybees and deer was the most but we would be kinda screwed without them. This was exactly what my family was looking for.

Charming log cabin in beautiful meadow with rolling hills backing up to forest. We saw several deer the first day. The cabin is back off the main roads, surrounded by woods & forest which we loved & it’s pretty much secluded which was great for privacy, yet there are other cabins not to too far away ,so that we didn’t feel completely isolated from the outside world. That made us feel safe as well. The cabin was clean, well stocked & well maintained. The king size bed down stairs was extremely comfortable. We really appreciated that there was a working washer & dryer available with laundry detergent - I might add. It was nice to cook our own food at the cabin and just relax a couple of days. One night we built a fire in the fire pit outside and sat around enjoying the fire & the night sky. A perfect cabin for a peaceful getaway, and the town of Wytheville is just a few miles down the road, if you need to pick up food or supplies. Lastly, our host was a very quick to respond to questions

The cabin was a perfect stay for us and our pup! She enjoyed the wide yard and the cozy fireplace! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the water pressure on the shower was excellent! The bed had the softest sheets I have ever felt so I had to peek at the label to get some of my own! The cabin is only about a 30 minute drive from some great breweries, and close to Wytheville where there is great food, beer, and shopping. We even drove by the Graham mansion that runs a scare house in the Fall! The copious brochures were helpful in planning our day and there were multiple spots on the property where we snapped photos. The property is close to the road but you wouldn't know it! We loved it!

This was such a beautiful and lovely cabin right on the water. We basically sat on the screened in porch all day enjoying the tranquility and peacefulness hearing and watching the river. This place was perfect!!!!! Thank you for allowing us to stay with you!
