Such a beautiful stay. Was a lovely way to get away from London for a few days and enjoy the peaceful surrounding. Thank you Martha and Phil for being such lovely hosts and your lovely recommendations of local places to go. You have a stunning place, we’ll be sure to come back.

We really loved our stay, we would easily recommend to anyone! Susie was a brilliant host, and considered all the little details to help make you feel at home. A super clean, tidy place that looks exactly like the photos, very easy check in with personal greeting to help you check in smoothly. Loved the welcome goodies and bathroom amenities. Thanks again for a great stay! xx

Luxury Studio-incredible view-peaceful getaway

LouiseRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Can highly recommend a stay at Roberta's lovely property, it has everything needed for a few days away. Peaceful with great views & garden to enjoy. The studio is beautifully done, with very comfy large bed & chairs for relaxing in. Bonus of proper large bath towels! The few breakfast bits, water & fresh milk were very welcome. Good instructions on how to use everything & helpful details on the area etc. Also had a cooling unit which was very needed in the warm weather, as whilst all the glass gives wonderful views, it is also makes it very warm. Got some wonderful strawberries for breakfast from the local run village shop. Did not need to ask Roberta for anything but felt from communication beforehand that nothing would have been too much trouble.

Had a lovely stay from beginning to end. Janet was there to greet us and show us round. The home is spotless and has everything you need. Beautiful little garden area at the front that has the sun in the mornings. Short walk into Gravesend for restaurants. When I come back to Kent to catch up with friends I shall definitely stay again.

‘The Water Snug’ Floating Lake Cabin

What a visit! We’ve absolutely loved every minute of our stay with Patrick and Juliette, they have created the most beautiful living space and could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It’s a fantastic spot for either a calm getaway or for if you want to do some exploring, and your hosts have excellent local knowledge that they are happy to share if you need recommendations for the area. We had planned to just relax on the boat for the whole time, but we actually wound up visiting nearby areas (Brighton, the beautiful Sheffield Park, local pubs) before retreating to the boat for the evenings, and we loved this mix. Could not recommend this place enough, it’s been our favourite holiday yet and I’m certain that we’ll be back in future!

3 Bedroom Cottage in the Heart of Rochester.

Very nice clean space. Loved how the modern interior had been integrated in this eighteen hundreds building. The beds are exceptionally comfy. We had a great night sleep. Breakfast places are very close by in the main street just around the corner. Will definitely book again when the opportunity arises.
A light and airy living area is showcased, featuring a king-size bed with neatly arranged linens. A small dining table is positioned near a window, offering views of the outdoors. A sofa and kitchenette are visible, enhancing the space's functionality.

Idyllic countryside annexe

MaeveRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This stay was nothing short of perfection. As a quick and easy getaway from London accessible by train and 10-minute walk, I can’t recommend Michael and Emma’s place more highly. From the local recommendations (shoutout to the Farmhouse for a fab roast, Five Pointed Star for a dreamy outdoor area and Roses for coffee), to the annex itself being so clean with every detail thought of. Milk in the fridge, wine glasses, beautiful books and board games, luxurious towels and bedding all made us feel so comfortable. We loved sitting in the backyard and it felt private despite being an annex. Emma was so lovely to chat with - both before arriving and in-person when we checked out. You really feel their love for the property and the town. Even though it was a warm summer night, we had the skylights opened and it made for a beautiful airy and cool space. Definitely an AirBnB for both summer and winter. Looking forward to my next visit and it is certainly the perfect affordable London escape!
