Family-friendly vacation rentals in Woolwich

We had a wonderful Christmas week at Flagpole Cottage. The hosts' home was clean, welcoming and extremely well-equipped. We had everything necessary for preparing family feasts, having a wood fire, plenty of bathrooms and comfortable beds. Robin and Francine even left a beautifully decorated real Christmas tree for us the enjoy (and put our presents under), a very thoughtful touch. We enjoyed the hot tub and trampoline (we were lucky with the weather, cold but not rainy) as well as the local walks to pubs. We bought our Christmas turkey (ordered in advance) at the fabulous Flower Farm shop, which is nearby and is a great source for all things edible. Robin and Francine's guide to local amenities and activities is thorough and quite useful. Robin was very attentive and open to queries but everything was so clearly laid out we didn't really have any questions. One last thing - the gardens are exceptional - even in December! I was in awe - especially the topiary. The old yew trees! xx

Great area of London for restaurants and markets. Easy access to Tube at Algate East and other rail at Liverpool Station. Val’s place was homey and clean and lots of room. Kitchen really well equipped. Views of the skyline beautiful, especially at night. A wonderful place to stay in the eastern end of London.

Carol Anne and Kelly were great hosts, kind and helpful. The apartment was very nice, equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to the subway and buses, the neighborhood is great. We had a great time, thaks a lot.

Debbie’s place has an excellent location close to train stations, cafes, and it is also walkable to some attractions. The flat was very clean and comfortable for two people. We managed to get our suitcases up and down the long and narrow staircase with no issue. Debbie gave us helpful recommendations and was responsive before and during our trip. I would definitely stay again at Debbie’s when in London.

Absolute lovely place in a quiet area of London. The flat is exactly as described and it has everything you need for a short or long stay. Totally recommended, would love to come back!

Great home in excellent location for exploring London. I stayed with my family and it was perfect. The house was spotless, very clean and tidy and the host was very responsive and gave us great tips on excellent places to take the kids. We loved Alfie the cat, he was an added bonus, hardly saw him but when he was around, he was very sweet and not a problem at all to feed him. Thanks for a great stay, we will definitely be back.

The apartment was great. The end bedroom gets some traffic noise but earplugs fixes this. The stairs, though many, were not an issue and we saw it as part of our exercise regime! A great experience all round. Perfectly placed and the private park was delightful.

We had a perfect stay, the place was just what we needed for a family of 4 (kids 12 and 9). We used the nearby buses, tube and overground to get around. We went in to central London, Richmond and up to Wembley during our stay and all within easy reach. The accommodation really suited our needs, clean and spacious and we enjoyed the local pub, bakery and coffee options! Quentin was a super host, welcomed us on check in, gave us some great recommendations and made sure we had no issues during our stay. Thanks for the late check out too! Highly recommend.

John is a great host and we enjoyed spending a little time with him once in awhile. The place was as described and a good starting off place each morning.

Great London guides and maps available for use during our stay. We stayed 3 weeks and the place was cleaned every Wednesday. Paddington tube and railway station very close by. Take the canal boat trip from near the apartment to Camden Lock for a fun day. Good hot water and pressure in shower.

Perfect for seeing a concert at Shepherds Bush Empire. Great and cheap Indian across the road. Very accessible for central London.

Perfect stay. Big and clean apartment near to Stratford and ideal for getting to our Sam Fender gig in the London Stadium. Pash was super helpful and clear communication. Easy to recommend.

Harriet was very responsive and helpful with information and instructions. The house was as its pictures and had a lot of space for a big family.

An excellent place to stay in a great location with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and a very short walk to Kew Gardens and Kew Gardens train station. Enjoyed the outdoor terrace and large living/dining room area. Highly recommended.

A little gem of a place! Don't let the exterior fool you! It's homely, peaceful and just a home from home once you are through the door with a cuppa in hand and slumped on the sofa! I could of hapilt stayed for weeks! The flat is within walking distance to Battersea Park (5 minute walk) and Chelsea (15-20 minute walk) which was perfect for my solo trip to see Chelsea in bloom. There are some great free parking spots local to the flat which is great if you plan on coming by car! The area felt safe and welcoming and I had no issues walking to and from the flat even quite late at night. The bus stop is round the corner and takes you to all the great spots in central London! The highlights from my stay were being welcomed by a beautiful bottle of red wine, the amazing shower that I struggled to get out of as it was just so relaxing and the ambience of busy London in the background whilst I read my book next to the fire wrapped in a blanket! I will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment is cozy, well-located, and not far from the city center. Everything we needed was within walking distance. It was a perfect place to come back to after exploring London.

Fantastic stay, hosts were brilliant and went out way to make me feel welcome, lovely to have use of the pool, nice walk from streathem station over the common and lovely neighbourhood, highly recommend

It was a lovely stay and just perfect for our needs in London. We have two little dogs who felt quite at home. The garden was very relaxing. Canadian Avenue is a nice location and not too busy. There are plenty of shops nearby, the station is close and there are also lots of places to catch a bus. This is the first time of using an Airbnb. The whole process was excellent and I hope to book again with Sue in the future. Thank you also to Jean and Ralph who were vey helpful.

Want a nice quiet spot in West London that's affordable? This is it. Always got peaceful nights sleep and it's easy to get to the underground or walks to Shepherd's Bush.

Tara was very welcoming and made us feel instantly at home. The flat was well equipped with everything we needed. The flat was well located with easy transport links nearby. We would definitely stay here again!😄

Jodi’s home is a great place to stay. We were going to a wedding at Hackney Town Hall and could walk easily there and to the restaurant afterwards. It’s also beautifully located looking out at London Fields. The home was well provided for, we had everything we needed and so much more. We loved the decor, there was so much to see and read. We had a fabulous long stay in Susan’s house. The house was perfect, spacious and homely and in a great location near Clapham high st and Clapham common with lots of nice shops, parks and close to lots of public transport. Susan was very welcoming and responsive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable and help us during our stay.
