Me and the girls came for a girls weekend for my birthday. We had a beautiful time. It was so much fun with so much to do. This is our second time being here. This go round we went to bear chase brewery, lake laurel, pattys diner, & much more. We had the absolute best time. We will be coming back. Next time might make it a family thing with the kiddos. Well worth it! This is a must see place. Thank you Jamie for welcoming us!!!

It was a beautiful house — historic architecture and modern finishes. We traveled with young children and senior citizens, and it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we could have wished for in an accommodation. Host was prompt in all communication. Offered early check in and later check out, which was super helpful. Would highly recommend.

We had an awesome weekend at Cara's! Communication was so easy and she was super accommodating. Wonderful place to stay if you are traveling with your dog. This quiet place tucked between trees by the river was a delightful place for us to relax. We especially enjoyed the screened in back porch with a view of the water and surrounded by birdsongs. There was a lot of care and thought put into providing many essentials and extras to make the stay perfect!

A covered porch features a welcome mat at the entrance and small potted trees beside it. A red door adds a pop of color, while black chairs and a table create a seating area. The wooden flooring is painted in a muted tone.

The historic and charming Nicodemus House

Shelly and Gabe were excellent hosts and very responsive. I would definitely book this home again if I visit Woodstock in the future. I was in town for the Old Dominion 100 ultramarathon. This location was extremely convenient to the fairgrounds where the start was. The course almost went by the home. We especially enjoyed walking to Woodstock Café for several meals as well as getting ice cream at the local spot right down the street. There is a tavern, micro brewery, and a few restaurants all within an easy walk. Finally, the Internet was fast and stable. This was a must for me since I had to do some work calls. I recommend this property without hesitation.

The Hippie House was super-cute and comfortable. Space was very well-used and nice. The little town of Woodstock was also adorable. Wish we could’ve stayed longer but we’re just passing through.

Vic’s place was very nice. It was very clean for being in the country. It had most of what you might need, we weren’t missing anything. Keurig, pods, coffee cups - which is the most important were front and center! Vic was communicative and helpful. Lovely home!
