My sister and I had a peaceful long weekend at Fish Tales. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was fun to take the kayaks out and just RELAX. My brothers and I with our significant others always get together for a weekend at the Renaissance Festival in Holly and this was literally the perfect cabin for us - close enough that we could go to and from if we needed a break during our long days at the Faire and peaceful enough at night to come back to and relax or play games like we love to do together. Plenty of space that we could all have beds and felt cozy. The lake is beautiful this time of year and even was warm enough that we could have swam after if we wanted or weren’t warn out from our long days. Parking was easy to figure out even with four vehicles. Host was responsive and super helpful and even allowed us to check in early when we realized that we would rather all drive in together last second. (Whoops! Poor planning on my part.) There was even provided water which was lovely as well, and a really nice touch when it comes to well water! Thank you so much and we will be back!

Our second year staying here for a family retreat. It is difficult to find an Airbnb that sleeps 8, but also has room for 8 at the kitchen table and on the sofa, and we are appreciative that this property does. Well stocked and comfortable.

Amazing little lake house, just perfect for our needs. While it was a bit chilly in the evening so wasn't able to take full advantage of the amazing deck or the lake itself, the views alone were something that made all the friends back home jealous.

Beautiful property, feels private and remote even though right off the highway. Unique mid-century modern decor/interior design — not your typical sterile, greige cookie cutter Airbnb! Responsive, friendly hosts. I stayed here over the Christmas holiday, and Matt went out of his way to salt/shovel the walkways/driveway the morning of Christmas Eve when it had snowed the previous night. Highly recommend, I would definitely stay here again!

This place is fantastic! Totally did not expect when we drove up and saw this cute little cabin that it would be so spacious and well-appointed inside. Adorable, modern, spotless, perfect in every way! Glorious lake! You are right on the lake, no long walk. You’re there. Fire pit was amazing. Plenty of wood and seating. Stefanie could not have been nicer and more accommodating! Sleep was silent and serene. A wonderful getaway so close to Ann Arbor and Detroit! Gave us great restaurant recommendations, too. Will definitely come back!

The cabin was lovely and right across the street from the lake. We went in December but it would probably be so fun to visit in the summer and go swimming

Alan was very accommodating and communicated very well. We’d definitely recommend staying here and will be doing again ourselves.

Great host. answered any and all questions quickly and fully. Nice man! the house fit the description well, it was a cabin right in the middle of Shelby township. the house wasn't 100% new, but had newer appliances, nice TV and the king size bed was very cozy. Could have been a California king. it felt like a cabin that is in Northern Michigan. Recommend this listing!

This cozy little gem is a great little getaway place for a weekend stay. All your basic amenities. Clean, easy check in and such a great view. Walking distance to a few places to eat, but not to far from Ann Arbor either. Host was very responsive; friendly. I would totally stay there again.

The experience at Mully and Deb’s cabin exceeded my expectations for a personal retreat. Being right on the walking path is such a treasure - with so many hiking paths just steps away outside. I was amazed out how incredibly quiet the location was. I could be out in those woods and hear no human activity. Fantastic! The cabin is extremely cozy with two reclining chairs that look out over the forest. This is where I found myself for hours reading and journaling. The wood fired stove is more than enough to keep you warm - even in this cooler time. And of course breakfast was a sure highlight - prepared with a lot of thoughtfulness. If you’re looking for a retreat - look no further than this cabin on the path.

Kaylee was a great host. When the first cabin I went to book was already booked, she quickly recommended this one to us which was very helpful because this cabin hadn't shown up on my initial search in the app.

Perfect spot for my mom & I to stay while we visited family in the area. We loved the cozy-chic cabin vibe. The decor was beautiful and SO COMFORTABLE, from the couch to the beds. Well-appointed kitchen for all our needs & we appreciated the Keurig. It’s very quiet, and the skylights are amazing. We took advantage of the nearby hiking trail on a frosty morning - perfect start to the day. When I had a couple questions, Annalisa was very quick to respond. We miss the Hideaway already and hope to visit again!!

The cottage was very nice and clean. We loved it, stayed cool even on a very warm day. They have just about everything you would need as far as kitchen supplies,(plates, pans, utensils, etc) the property is kept up very clean. they have their own small boat launch which was very helpful as we brought our boat and the public launch was closed. nice spot on the lake. The only complaint we had was the address shown didn't bring us right to it. we called the host and she gave us a better description. All in all we loved it.

Love this spot, this was my second time staying here! I was in town to attend a show at Fox Theatre and walked there & back, just a little over a mile away... This space is very basic & that might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it worked perfectly for me & I will definitely be checking the availability on this place the next time I plan on heading to Detroit!
