When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Welcome to the Thuringian Forest 🌲 Our lovingly furnished bungalow offers everything your heart desires for nature lovers. Our property is located in the middle of nature on the outskirts of Dittrichshütte, a village at an altitude of 600 meters. It is very quiet with us, as the road is hardly used. As a starting point for hikes and sporty mountain bike or motorcycle tours, the accommodation is very good.
