Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wissembourg

The flat was clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the river, there were many walks to choose from which went directly from the house. There is tourist information in the next village along which can be walked to as its about 3km away. It was not made clear that there is only one bedroom, this is large and has lots of storage so is a nice room, the second bed is actually is a fold away one in the lounge area. This was not a problem for myself and my friend but just something to be aware of if you were wanting more privacy. The flat is self contained but it is within the house itself, there are a number of other flats within the building, if you are expecting it to be separate its not. There was occasionally a small amount of noise from the private part of the house where the host lives but this was not intrusive, just the children playing. Be aware that you will need to pay tourist tax at the end of your stay, its about one euro per person per day.

We spent three days at Antoine's place and were completely satisfied! Antoine was an extremely accommodating host and always available when we had questions or needed tips for the area. The place was spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you could need – from a small kitchen to a TV with Netflix and other streaming providers to an Xbox. We were particularly enthusiastic about the sauna and jacuzzi, which perfectly rounded out our stay. The location is ideal to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city, yet Strasbourg is quickly accessible by train. Overall a very cozy place to stay that we highly recommend!

We had a great stay! The place was perfect for our group of men who were hiking in the area. Everything went smoothly – from arrival to departure. The location was great, it was clean, and we felt completely comfortable. A small suggestion for improvement: The hot tub is more comfortable for two people, not really for four – a larger model would be great here. The kitchen could also use a small upgrade, especially if you want to cook more often yourself. Overall, however, absolutely recommended – we will be happy to come back!

A great weekend in this beautiful cottage with all comforts, Jacuzzi, Hammam, Sauna ... A very attentive welcome and very good wine discussions with the hosts, as charming as their region! Recommended for discovering the vineyards of the area (and elsewhere) as well as for spending a relaxing time near Strasbourg :)

Very nice stay on the outskirts of the city. Everything is within walking distance. The place is very nice and clean. This is also a good place to stay in very bad weather. Didier is a perfect host. Always responsive and very friendly. We felt at home from the minute we arrived. I can only recommend this accommodation!

Everything was as described. Our dogs loved the fenced grounds. Too convenient! And the pool was beautiful and very well maintained! Plus we have great sunshine! Very good vibes

Great place to stay at an excellent price and a really lovely host who even spoke German. We felt very welcome and although Bernard was always available, he never forced himself. It couldn't be better. It was a pity that the hot tub was only turned on after our arrival and was therefore only warm enough on the evening of our second day. For longer stays, of course, this is not a problem - but not insignificant for a weekend trip. Presumably it happened more often that the pool was heated up and then not used - so I would advise to let you know before arrival that you plan to use the hot tub. All in all we had a really nice weekend in a great house. We will be happy to come back! :)

Well located apartment, accessible by car with assigned parking space. The tram station is a short walk away and downtown is then a few stations away. We really appreciated the location of this apartment to enjoy a weekend in Strasbourg. This accommodation is well isolated from noise, quiet environment. The icing on the cake, the bakery a short walk away, perfect for breakfast!

Stéphane is an amazing host. Very responsive and very helpful. The flat was pristine! Very clean and spacious. The view was spectacular. Great location and walkable to many sights and accommodations. I would highly recommend Stéphane and his home to make your trip to Strasbourg memorable.

Alles Super! Mega Haus!

Great area if you like to hike scenic trails and eat good food. Bakeries and high quality restaurants are walkable. A larger small town is also a 5 minute drive for shopping, etc. The guest house was in great shape. We had two meals in during our week and it had everything we needed. 1 bathroom, but there is an extra toilet as well off of the porch, which was nice. Regina was very friendly and responsive. 5 stars

Ulrike & Martin, both super hosts! Very friendly, helpful, with lots of tips for all kinds of activities with our family. We greatly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings in the middle of the spruce of the black forest🌲, with drinking water from the tap that flows from their own natural mountain spring, wonderful hiking, fun activities for the children undertaken. Yes, we come home very full of this vacation and highly recommend the cottage with Ulrike and Martin! Best regards from Belgium

We had a great time despite the rainy weather that wasn't there. Only 10 minutes from the golf de souffleheim where we had a competition. The house is large very functional and very pleasant with a very large green area. A foosball table for fun evenings. José welcomed us perfectly and remains available. We would definitely recommend Rebecca and Daniel's house.

Had a great couple of days at this place. It's at an (aging) holiday park, but the house is cosy and kitchen and bathroom are up to date. Love the (new) fireplace. Easy access to trails for walking and mountainbiking. Kids loved sleeping in the attic!

Marie is a lovely lady living on the next door of the apartment. She is very sweet and friendly and happy to help when needed.

We had a great stay. Being a group of 4 adults & 4 children, the apartment is very comfortable and functional. It is modern, clean and very well-equipped (including exotic spices & sauces :)). Hosts are very responsive, available and flexible. Perhaps the only small downside is the wifi coverage (a little difficult to pick up from the downstairs bedroom and kitchen)

Lovely and well furnished apartment in a calm environment. Well suited for families with babies or toddlers (crib, changing table, diaper trash and high chair are provided).

My girlfriends and I were here for the second time and again we felt completely comfortable. The house is beautiful and perfectly equipped. The surroundings are of course great for walking and hiking, and as always the communication with Tatjana and check-in and check-out worked perfectly.

The apartment was large, wonderfully furnished, with a really cozy sofa and a table where the four of us could play board games very well. All the things of everyday life were there. The only drawback to Silz is that there was actually not a single restaurant, but in the neighboring village there was an Italian who also delivered. During the summer the pool is certainly great, we only dared to get in at the 13 degrees water temperature in October...

Very good stay with Yvon and his wife. We went there to get to the Royal Palace which is located nearby, it was just perfect! The common entrance with our hosts allowed us a great exchange, when we met! Thank you so much for your courtesy, kindness and availability. We'll be happy to go back!
