Mountain Views at a Smart Hilltop Home with Solar Power

Gaze over the Moot from a covered, lit dining terrace. Immaculate, clean-lined, contemporary interiors flow via sliding glass walls onto a generous wraparound deck. Black and steel accents complement airy whites, soft greys, and organic, earthy tones. We have solar power. The house has three separate bedrooms each with an En Suite bathroom on the ground level accessed through an electric gate with a small front yard. The living areas are spacious and open plan with lots of light and an outdoor feel. There is no garden, however, lots of outdoor space with an incredible view of the mountain and valley that is known as The Moot. Enjoy your stay in a relaxed, easy to care space. You will have the whole place to yourselves! Good communication is important to us and we will respond as quickly as possible. We are happy to answer any questions regarding travel, attractions, places to visit and everything that interest you. The house is at the top of a steep driveway in quiet Villieria, one of Pretoria’s oldest neighbourhoods. It is close to the highway, university, hospitals, embassies and amenities. Find shops, cafes, and restaurants just down the road. In addition to Uber and metered taxis, a bus to the Gautrain station leaves from Webb Street in the nearby Queenswood. A bus service and a bus to the Gautrain station is available just 200 meters down the road. Metered taxi's or Uber are available too. Parking for 1 car is available on the property. Situated on top of a hill, it may be a challenging drive into the driveway for some. There is a double garage with direct access into the scullery. The property is safe, enclosed and has an alarm.

Tranquil setting with spectacular views over the mountains. Situated about 70km from Johannesburg and Pretoria. 100km from Sun City, 130km from Pilanes Berg and 40km from Lanseria Airport. The area offers shopping, animal sanctuaries, cable car, restaurants, movie sets, etc. We are in a nature estate with free roaming animals & fauna and flora expected in such an estate. No additional- or day visitors allowed. Possibility of noise from the resort, golf course and building activities.

We had a great stay, very peaceful. A great close breakaway from Joburg and Pretoria without much travel time. Besides the fun hiking trails it really is also a beautiful place to unwind, play board games or read a book without any distractions. We would like to first say Thank You to Celia and Jan for allowing us to stay at their beautiful Bird House Cottage. This place has everything you need and if there is something you are needing they will get it. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay in Centurion. It’s in a lovely neighborhood and only a few minutes to the grocery store, mall, and gas station. Celia and Jan are exceptionally nice and have a heart of gold!! Apart from the impeccable property, the superb hospitality from Andre and his parents is something I shall cherish for life. I am truly greatful that we had the opportunity to stay at this house and met these wonderful people.

My partner and I spent the weekend there and loved every moment. The home is stunning, both inside and out, with thoughtful touches that make it feel welcoming and serene. We enjoyed peaceful sunrises and breathtaking sunsets, and spent our evenings braaing under the stars, kept warm by the convenient outdoor gas heater. One of the highlights was a guided morning walk with our wonderful host, Henriette. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made our stay even more memorable. I genuinely can't fault this place. It’s tranquil, beautifully maintained, and offers the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Highly recommended!
