Vacation rentals with a kayak in Winnebago County

Great place on the lake! Spent most of our time ice fishing, but the home was accommodating, clean and the host was very responsive! Will stay again in the future and would recommend for anyone looking to stay at a lake house! Lots of room for everyone!

Our stay at the Old Schoolhouse was great! The house was clean and well organized and had all the things we needed. The grounds were beautiful and we had a great time swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, and gathering at nights around the fire pit. Communication from Heather was fast and she thoroughly answered my questions. We had a great time at the Old Schoolhouse and would absolutely stay there again! Thank you, Heather!

Loved everything about the home. Loved collecting eggs from the chickens. Hot tub, fire pit , yard, and inside areas were perfect and comfy. Loved the lay out of the house and the view from the sun room was great. Responsive hosts and great directions in the house manual left in the kitchen.

Super cool property and cute little home. Quiet and cozy for our fam of three including infant, as well as our dog. Loved visiting the Oshkosh farmer’s market and enjoying the sunrises and sunsets at the house. We hope to return sometime, thanks!

What a beautiful house and location. Imagine waking up in the morning, making coffee and sitting on the back deck 30 feet from the lake. Perfect location and perfect house. 40 minutes to Green Bay for a Packers game (my Texans lost but I had fun going to the game) and 43 minutes back to Neenah. Overall, a really good trip.

Perfect place for the draft weekend. Fit everyone comfortably. Was an easy drive to get to Green Bay and back. Highly recommend.

A Perfect Weekend Getaway! Our stay at The Yellow Door was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a space that was both beautifully designed and impeccably clean. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making us feel right at home while still providing a luxurious retreat. Our hosts thoughtfully provided a welcome note with some local snacks for both the humans and our dog. The attention to detail in every corner was remarkable—cozy furnishings, modern amenities, and thoughtful touches that truly elevated the experience. Jenna went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, offering a thorough guide with home information and fantastic recommendations and always being available for anything we needed. The location was ideal, close enough to enjoy local attractions but tucked away enough to provide peace and tranquility. Whether sipping coffee on the charming dock, or exploring nearby hotspots, it was perfect.

Wonderful stay, would definitely come back for another weekend getaway in the future!

Enjoyed the stay at Max’s lake house. Very clean and plenty of supplies and amenities. Max did a great job communicating. I only wish the weather was a little warmer to enjoy the outdoors but that is expected in April. I will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at the Lion on Sunset Lake! Marcia is a great host-very kind, helpful and quick to respond. The house was clean, very well appointed and stocked with everything you can think of. Beds are very comfortable. Lots of fun, extra amenities to enjoy both inside and out. The screen porch was our favorite spot! We enjoyed the game room as well. We'd have no hesitation to book this place again!!

This was our third and longest stay, 5 total nights September 9-14 2024 at what I wish was our cabin, hint hint Tom! The weather was fantastic for boating as we were allowed to bring a 12 ft fishing boat and had use of the private pier. They do have an aluminum boat and trolling motor available for use along with a paddle boat and kayak’s. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you might need, and I mean everything ,only need to bring your food and drink.Walking distance to a nice up north restaurant/bar and 15 minute drive to any nearby towns. Bluegills all day long everywhere we fished including the pier. Sunshine on the pier all day. Park for swimming within short walk. Safe and secure with plenty of lighting. Nice deck for grilling and bon fires with a woodpile to burn. Peaceful and worth every dime. Hope you hold onto it Tom because I am sure we will be back. Bill and Tracy

Beautiful location, clean water—amazing. Family-friendly for sure, but it was also a lovely spot for me and my dogs to relax after a busy summer. Waupaca as well as the Chain O Lakes area have lots to do. Don’t forget to explore quaint and nearby Rural, Wi. I loved sitting on the pier with my coffee, the patio for lunch, and around the fire pit for dinner. The sunset and stars are always beautiful. Thank you for a terrific escape.

Our family loved our recent stay here! The house had lots of space to spread out. We loved the patios, plenty of seating indoors and out. The indoor/outdoor patio area with garage door to keep the sand outside is a neat space. The beach area is nice and sandy with a gradual slope and the included water toys are a great touch. Our kids (3 & 6-year olds) along with the adults loved the slip-n-slide on the side of the house and the floating barge with a slide. The lake is quaint but plenty of room to boat around and swim. We also rented their pontoon which was extra convenient. The firepit area out front looked really nice with the cafe lights overhead. All the amenities provided definitely make us want to come back again! You will not regret staying here!

Was a short stay and really wasn’t at the cabin for any amount of time did what we needed it to do would stay again

My honest review.... Bryan's outdoor amenities are what made this place for our trip. The outdoor bar, fire pit (fire wood available) nice grass area for yard games. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, outdoor speakers were very nice and easy to use. I did have an issue with sleeping arrangements once I asked Bryan he did respond and make sure we got correct information. With this being said when I booked this place I guess I didn't look good enough but 1 "twin" bed available is stuffed into a closet that just fits the mattress. Unusable for an Adult in my opinion. Another thing not a huge deal but I've never came across when booking any airbnb is the thermostat was locked, AC never went on at all pretty warm inside with no fans available. All and all us 4 guys had a good time for a Batchelor party. Waupaca is such a nice peaceful getaway!! Thank you Bryan for opening your place up for our stay!!

It was a wonderful cabin and a great setting. We had the unfortunate luck of some bad weather, but that's how it goes in early spring in the Midwest. Thankfully the cabin made for a nice hideout from the cold, rain and snow outside. Our kids enjoyed the upstairs nook. We made a few bonfires and peaked at the beautiful lake when it wasn't raining. McJuggers and 3 Sweets Bakery just a few minutes away were nice spots, along with the Twisted Pair in Adell. We'd definitely consider coming back to enjoy the outdoors at some point in the future.

We love cooking and you really did think of everything in your design. We brought a lot of utensils and ended up not using because you had it all. 😊 This house feels so cozy tucked into what felt like a cove. Fireplace was really nice and snuggled up and watched the rain. Truly peaceful and just what we needed. Thank you again!

This house is absolutely stunning! It’s spotless, beautifully designed, and located in a fantastic spot. The view is breathtaking, with a beautiful lake and a lovely interior. There’s plenty of space for big families, and the kitchen is equipped with all the essentials. The house is also incredibly clean, with no unpleasant odors. And the best part? here’s a hot tub that’s perfect for relaxing after a long day. Thank you so much!

We loved this cabin! It was secluded and peaceful with space for the kids and pups to run, but also convenient to groceries, restaurants, and shops. We built a fire and made s’mores, walked the shops in town, and enjoyed the local restaurants and brewery. I would love to go back and we recommend this property for families, couples, or even a single getaway. Bonus: cabin had lots of books and games to enjoy as well.

Andrew was a great host who has a lovely cabin. The site is beautiful and has all of the amenities and space to have a good time with friends and family. He communicated well throughout the process to ensure we had a good experience.

this Airbnb made for a great little family getaway. the hot tub was a really nice added feature. everything was very clean, very well organized, light switches were all labeled and kitchen cabinets were all labeled which was really nice! the host was very good to work with, responded quickly, and due to an unforeseen circumstance with a different B&B we had rented and the host had to cancel, these guys were very happy to accommodate us last minute!

This is our 4th time visiting this cabin and it never disappoints! The last time my now husband and I were here was a few years ago when we got engaged at the park down the road. We love sitting by the fire, fishing by the pier and cooking yummy meals. We always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

The lake view from the cabin was beautiful and it was great that there were kayaks available. Very peaceful. Only things not ideal were the sleeping situation- not much privacy and you do have to sign a separate contract with card info. But overall great stay would definitely recommend.
