Savage Lane

Our father built this house beginning in 1981. It is located on our 40-acre farm, in front of my sister's cottage, about 100 yards from the house I share with our nephew, which was originally built by our grandparents in 1939. It is quiet, remote and peaceful. It is about seven miles to the nearest grocery stores and restaurants in Bastrop, and one mile to a Dollar General in Collinston. There is wifi in the house, as well as a Roku TV.

Peaceful cabin in orchard! Great Internet!

The Betty suite cabin is based on a standard hotel room. We have a queen bed, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee pot. The private bathroom include a large shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Each room has high-speed Internet with a flat screen, smart TV. This building was the original home of our neighbors - Earl and Betty. We moved the structure to the park and turned it into 2 hotel suites.

This private house sleeps 3 in the bedroom and 1 on the couch. I do have an inflatable queen mattress that can be used upon request. It has a full kitchen and private washer/dryer also.There is a fenced yard for a large dog, but the fence is wide enough that a small dog will be able to escape. Located within 8 miles of I-20, University of Louisiana at Monroe, and Pecanland Mall.

Drew was a great host! The property was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the secluded feeling, even though you share grounds with others, you never knew. Drew greeted us as we were unpacking the car, he was very friendly and made sure to let us know, if we needed anything to let him know. The property was remote but close to anything you would need. A perfect, peaceful hideaway! We are thinking about staying longer, should we make it back that way.

This place was incredible. We came in town to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Tech. It was everything that was pictured and more. Anyone coming to this part of Louisiana definitely needs to look into staying here. It was close to Ruston but still far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the rolling hills. Drinking coffee overlooking the lake was a perfect way to start the day. The place had everything you needed and then some. Thanks for a wonderful place to spend with family.

This house was everything we expected! Big, beautiful, clean and peaceful! We were so sad when our stay ended. We have family in Delhi and always need a place to stay and will definitely be back! Also, the couches at this place were so comfy! We spent so much time down at the dock, fishing with the kids. 10/10!!

This place is a little piece of paradise! From sun up, to sun down, the view will amaze you… even from the inside. At night, the sounds of nature and plush bedding ease you to sleep. The space is beautiful and intentionally designed to make you feel right at home. Anytime I had a question, it was answered quickly and in detail. You can really tell Katy and Mark put their hearts into what they are doing. Thanks for a great stay. ❤️

Nicely remodeled home, across the street from the hospital. Worried it would be noisy but it wasn’t . Space was large and beds/ sofas comfy. Perfect distance to the Sterlington baseball complex.

We had another wonderful stay at the Monticello Cozy Apartment! Hosts are wonderful and quick to respond. Left us a nice note, and a variety of snacks, treats, and coffee. Bed super comfortable, and plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. We felt right at home! This will definitely be one of our go to Airbnb’s when traveling in Arkansas!
