Beautiful house that was even nicer than the pictures! Super clean and you can tell Matt takes pride in keeping this home in great shape. Definitely something for everyone, as both the adults and teenagers had a fun and relaxing time. The game room was a great bonus for the kids and we all enjoyed the perfect outdoor setting and clean hot tub. We brought our ATV and had a blast on all the trails reachable from right in the back yard! Matt was very responsive and we couldn't have asked for a better rental experience. Highly recommended and we definitely plan to be back!

This was our second stay at this house, and once again it was a great stay at a great property. Since our prior stay a year ago, they have added both a foosball table and an outdoor hot tub, and our group really appreciated both of these. It shows the owners are investing in upkeep. We also appreciated the baseball field just up the hill. The location right next to Elk Creek is wonderful, with a fire pit area close to the creek. This is a big beautiful older house with modern bedding, fireplace, oven, couch/recliners, etc.

This was my first Airbnb experience and I will say I’m so glad I stayed there, my kids loved the house and the hot tub! She really made us feel like we were home.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Gary was an exceptional host and we look forward to staying here again in the near future. Wish we could give another star just for how accommodating he was!

Mike’s home was absolutely beautiful. My boyfriend and I spent Easter weekend surrounded by beautiful trees, a flowing creek, and the tranquil sound of birds. We couldn’t get over how beautiful the property was. Inside the cabin was just as amazing. It was completely spotless. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed. All the appliances were updated and easy to use. The hot tub outside was a wonderful perk! We ended our day there after a long hike and it was perfect and relaxing. Mike was a fantastic host and was quick to reply to any of the questions that we had. He provided wonderful suggestions for hiking and breweries in the area. We had a small issue with the hot tub that he was able to walk us through with ease. He was fantastic the entire time and we are grateful to have been able to stay there. We hope to be back in the future! :)

Great house in a secluded location. Had everything we needed and everything was in working order. Special thanks to Randy the property manager. Super helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had anything we needed. We visited on a snowy and icy weekend and he made sure everything was clean and clear so we could get in and out of the property. Excellent service and it was greatly appreciated.

The host was very responsive and the home suited our needs. The back yard area was perfect for our dogs and the home had plenty of room for our family.

We had a great stay. The place looks exactly like the pictures. Amenities matched the listing. It was a relatively easy 25-30 minute drive to State College. We enjoyed ourselves and would like to come back again in the fall!

We were in the area for a Search and Rescue K9 training and needed some place that would accept dogs. We found this listing and we knew this was the place for us. With 130 acres our pups were able to take some great walks and play together after a day of learning. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your family home. Wonderful cozy house with so much character. Comfortable, well supplied. Close to several parks—Worlds End (9min), Rickets Glenn (25min). Great for a morning trail run, then afternoon hiking with the kids. The girls had their own beds/space and used the extra 2 beds to spread out their clothes/things. Wonderful fireplace. Eaglesmere Inn had a great dinner, Pam’s for breakfast was such a cute local spot.

This was our 4th stay at Rockgirt and as usual it was perfect. The house is exactly as pictured in the listing. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are spotless. There is plenty of space for our large crew to relax. Mary Beth is a fantastic host and is always friendly, helpful, and responsive. Check-in and check-out instructions are clear and concise. The place is fully equipped with everything we need for our party of eleven. If anything additional is required such as paper products or light bulbs, Mary Beth is just a quick text away. I can't express how much we all love our yearly outing at Rockgirt. Thank you Mary Beth! We look forward to visiting again in the Fall.

We had a very nice stay as we visited the area to celebrate Christmas with my family. The hosts had a robust welcome basket with a variety of goodies (which we didn’t get a chance to dig into unfortunately lol). The place was very clean and homey. It was perfect for my wife and I, and our pets.

This place is perfect for a quiet get away! If you love hearing rustling water of a creek, and if you love to fish this is a great location! This a great spot for anyone going to an event at PSU..Close enough but peaceful! John was responsive from the beginning when we made our reservation, to prior to our arrival our instructions on check in/checkout. Upon arrival there was a binder with great recommendations of restaurants and things to do. And this little cabin was just so cozy, just like the pictures! We thank you John and family for letting us use your home and hope to be back soon!

Wow, what an amazing experience. Michele and Kate's Airbnb is even better than described -- it is spacious, warm, and luxurious! The kitchen is incredible and had many condiments to use, and the bathrooms are pure luxury with so many extras such as bath salts, toothpaste, etc. The views out of every window are spectacular. The beds are comfortable, and the decor throughout the house is beautiful. It's clear this is a well-loved home turned into an Airbnb. Kate was really warm and helpful when I had questions. This Airbnb is a real bargain looking at all that it offers, and I am hopeful it will be available the next time my family is in the area. The pictures do not do this property justice. Beautiful house, property and furnishings. This is an ideal location for anyone who loves nature and wants to get away from it all. The house is huge, full kitchen plenty of amenities, numerous rooms, very comfortable and spotless. The cherry on top was the host! David is extremely gracious and very accommodating. We are looking forward to returning to enjoy this property more!

The perfect house to come back to after long days hiking! The listing was even better than expected, and was the perfect size for a couple people. We were immediately greeted by Frank when we arrived, and one of their dogs early the next morning. I loved reading the history of the AirBnB- because of how the building was built, like the listing said, the stairs to the bedroom are steep, but as long as you walk carefully, they are manageable. Fully stocked kitchen, wonderful bathroom, the comfiest bed to rest our head after travels. We can’t wait to stay again!

We booked a last minute cabin while on a hiking weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! We checked in pretty late, but were greeted and given the walk through. The bathrooms were clean, the cabin well air conditioned, and the bed was much much better than our sleeping bags, especially on the rainy weekend. It was a beautiful place, and we'd love to be back.

Perfect location! Quick bike ride via the trail to little league World Series stadium and restaurants and shops. It was nice to park and leave the car at the rental and avoid the traffic in town. Very clean, everything as described. Very responsive and accommodating host. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here while visiting family over Thanksgiving. The place was clean and kitchen was well stocked to do some Thanksgiving meal prep. Linda was very responsive and accommodating.

We stayed at Zhargals’s place as it was close to Knobels. The house was nice and spacious. Would recommend if you want to go to Knobels as it’s only a 30 minute drive.
