Mid-Century Style & Class In Quiet NE Location

We stayed a lovely few days in Kathleen’s house. The house was spotless (very clean), there were lots of fabulous touches that drew all the decor together, and many little instructions around the house to help us acclimate to the home and area quickly. There was plenty of seating throughout, and several complimentary items like snacks, soaps, etc. The house was also very QUIET. The perfect little getaway if you need to get some focus time or mediation time to yourself. There’s lots of shopping and restaurants within a short drive, and several DoorDash options available if you’re too comfortable to want to venture out. The neighborhood is very walkable. Safe and quiet. We enjoyed several walks with our dogs during our stay and saw many neighbors out doing the same. We hope to stay here again in the future. ❤️

What a unique and wonderful house. Beautiful Victorian with all the charm saved for us to enjoy. TONS of space for a family gathering or event. We had everything we needed from dishes to towels to snacks that Sandy left. We had nine people staying there and all raved about the house and the stay. Hopefully we will have good reason to be back.

The Uptown Cottage

Our first time using AirB&B. We were visiting family. I ended up being under the weather and didn’t get check-out quite right. That’s on me. I believe this home was a good value. My suggestion would be to add a hand mixer & rolling pin to the kitchen. We would stay again. Older safe neighborhood in the heart of Marion.

We found a couple broken utensils and let him know, he was apprentice of us telling him so he could replace for future guests. He was very responsive and friendly. Always love dog friendly places so we can travel with our "kid!" Nick's place was spacious but cozy and we had a great time just hanging out as a family, playing games and celebrating the holidays over a long weekend!

I will start by saying I selected Pat & Susie's Technicolor Dreamhouse because their reviews were so good. Let me say, they are absolutely the real deal. You can tell how much care and love went into this home. Don't miss the book with the house rules, because it also has photos of their journey of converting this home into a fun artistic show piece. However, it is not just art and fun. It is very functional with four unique bedrooms, two full baths and an additional half bath. Two different areas to entertain, the living room and the ultra cool downstairs room. Both with extra large TVs and plenty of seating and throw blankets. Did I mention they also have a full size ping pong table. Finally, the neighborhood is quiet, nice and affluent, yet it is still close to everything in Cedar Rapids. There is no question where I will stay on my next visit to Cedar Rapids, so if I am not there, then I recommend you stay at the Technicolor Dreamhouse. I love it and love Pat & Susie more!

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at! Perfect for a weekend with my fiancé and another couple. The house was the perfect size for us, and super clean with lovely decor. We felt right at home :) We would book Molly & Kevin’s place again in a heartbeat, our group agreed that we would love to stay here again during future visits to Iowa City. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed a bit more than a month at Brandi's place and loved the house and the garden. It is not far from the hospital, the stadium and shopping centers. It was clean and had everything we needed. Brandi was very welcoming and responded quickly. Thank you Brandi for everything! We highly recommend the place and if we ever come back to Iowa City, we will happily return to Brandi's place.

Carrie thought of everything!!! We had plenty of blankets to set on the front porch and relax, we had flip flops to wear to the hot tub. And it was beautifully decorated. She truly went the extra mile to make sure we had anything we could think of. The goat treats were a hit with the kiddos. We enjoyed feeding them and seeing the other farm animals. We will definitely come back here. G &C is truly a little slice of heaven in Iowa!!!! 🩷

This Airbnb was super cozy and cute loved the vibe! It’s also in a great location, really close to downtown. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The only thing we struggled with was the hot tub cover it was so heavy that even with two other people helping, we couldn’t get it back on. Aside from that, everything was perfect!

We stayed here for a family get together and loved it! The most stocked kitchen I have seen in an air bnb; gorgeous location; plenty of room to visit and socialize yet also have your own space; worked for my 94 and 80+year old parents as well as 5 year old niece and the rest of us in between. Jennifer was extremely accommodating and responsive. We had an amazing family weekend get together!!

We enjoyed our stay at Breann's last weekend to attend a wedding in Iowa. It accommodated our family of 7 well and was spacious and well furnished. The view from the upper level was amazing. It was like we were dwelling at the top of the trees and had a "bird's eye" view. Lovely. Very nice hot tub.

Kanku's home was wonderful! We were in town for our daughter's wedding, and it was only five minutes away from the venue. It was easy to get to the highway to go to other parts of the city as well. The house itself was spacious and perfectly clean. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of dishes and glasses. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms had plenty of towels. We couldn't have asked for a better place to gather our family for a joyous occasion!
