Always a great place to stay!

My stay was very pleasant, the cabins were very well equipped, some board games for leisurely evenings, I was able to enjoy kayak rides, sauna baths, you can see beautiful sunsets and most importantly you feel a peace that you feel connected with nature. The host is a beautiful person for his pleasant treatment and very attentive. I'm sure I'd come back as many times as I can because I can say that I feel at home.

Perfect place for the family to stay on our ice fishing trip. We definitely overpacked, because the house provided pretty much all the things we packed aside from food. The beds were really comfortable and the place was very clean! The owner was responsive, helpful, and very nice. We are looking forward to staying here again!

I've stayed at many air b&b's all over the country and David's house was the best stocked place I've seen. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cooking utensils. The bathrooms had tons of towels. The house is cozy and the scenery is beautiful! We are planning on coming back next year!

Anthony is an incredible Host! The location made my wife and family feel completely at home and allowed us to reconnect with our roots! So much that my wife who is from California has been shopping on Zillow ever since our stay needing to come back to the area. If you are on the fence about staying here, do it! You won’t regret it. But also, bring bottled water unless you like well water haha

Very good place to stay for a very reasonable price! Easy to locate and easily accessible! Would stay again if I’m ever back around!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay and John and Deb's place over President's Day Weekend 2025 when overnight lows were -20. The place was warm and cozy especially with the wood burning stove. John was very responsive and went as far as getting on the phone to walk you through the place when we first got there. The place was peaceful, with no TV, so we are able to catch up on reading and play games. We did a hike at Zippel Bay State Park which was close by and did a day trip to the Northern Most Point of the contiguous US.

Just one minor complaint. We enjoyed hanging out in the basement game room except no bathroom down there so the elders had to go up the stair which were a little steep to use the upstairs bathroom. But all said and done it was a great place to stay. Nice house and great area. Thanks.
