Go to the sea. Take a vacation in a former schoolhouse. Our 100-year-old house is very quiet in a small village on West Rügen, one of the less touristy corners of Rügen. If you are in the mood for nature and tranquility, then you have come to the right place. Small excursions to Hiddensee, Cape Arkona or just a long walk to the sea and in the evening sitting in the sun in our courtyard or in winter turning on the tiled stove and enjoying a tea.

The apartment stretches over 2 levels. On the first floor there is the hallway, the bedroom, the bathroom and a storage room, on the upper floor the kitchen, the living room with sofa bed (size 1.60 x 2.00 m), as well as the balcony. The property also has a terrace and parking space.

The house has 3 bedrooms. The spacious terrace, which offers an outdoor dining area, borders the living area with an integrated kitchen. The house has a TV in the living area as well as in two bedrooms. There are also two bathrooms with a shower and toilet.

The former day laborer's cottage ideally offers space for 2 adults with/without a dog. An extra bed for up to 2 more people in the bedroom is possible. If that's not enough, you can book the neighboring houses for friends and family (4 adults + 2 children & 2 adults + dog). Those looking for peace and relaxation will get their money's worth in this almost untouched coastal section. Experience gentle tourism amidst enchanting landscapes.

Our vacation home has about 110 m² of living space and turns 100 years old this year. It is located in a quiet residential area of Stralsund, yet it is only 5 minutes by bike or car to the historic old town. If you don't mind that a plank of the wooden floor creaks, or a cable has been retrofitted over the years, you are welcome and invited to get to know and enjoy Stralsund, Rügen and the surrounding area.

Haus Backbord – My spot Rügen!

Our house “Backbord” is a terraced house in the “Mein Fleckchen Rügen” holiday complex, quietly located in a village close to the water. It has its own entrance via the large terrace and a lovely view of the garden on the 12,000 m² property. The ground floor has an open living, dining and kitchen area with historic beams and a spacious shower room/WC. The two bedrooms are upstairs.

There is ample parking space located in front of the property. The apartment is a converted farm worker's cottage of the Frankenthal estate with strong visible beams. The original character has been preserved, but the furnishings are contemporary and modern. Our house N°9 is located in Hohendorf, about 3 km from the ducal town of Wolgast, the "gate" to the island of Usedom. From here you can reach the island with its long white sandy beaches in a few minutes. But it is also close to the Hanseatic city of Greifswald.
