Vacation rentals with a fire pit in White County

This Vacation home is wonderful. It's private and welcoming. The home is well appointed and the kitchen has everything you would need if you choose to cook. We loved the kayaks and the ability to explore on the river and fish. Our hosts were readily available IF needed and extremely communicative. They gave us great ideas about where we could go hiking. We enjoyed Brothers Tavern for a nice dinner. We also enjoyed Frank's for delicious sandwiches and smash burgers. We appreciate the opportunity to stay and look forward to coming back.

We had a wonderful stay! We hiked to surrounding waterfalls and grilled every night. The cozy cottage had all we needed for our peaceful getaway.

Michael's home was Beautiful and clean. It was well stocked with everything we could have needed. Having private water access was the main selling point for us. We loved all the hidden gems through out the house for the kids. Toys and games in the closets, along with family movies, and game system were wonderful. I had many questions about the listing, the area, and the water. Michael was always very quick to respond and helpful. I would recommend this home and would absolutely stay here again.

This place was amazing! The house was supper clean, it was really nice to have a full kitchen, washer and dryer. This place is pretty close to twin falls and fall creek falls for some great hiking. The hot tub was great to relax in after a day of hiking. The neighbors friendly dog stopped in to say hi a couple times for some belly rubs while we were enjoying our morning coffee on the back deck watching the deer in the field. If we are ever back in the area this will definitely be our go to spot!

Great space to enjoy the beautiful creek, and play yard games in the front field. Looking forward to making this an annual trip!

The retreat was a welcome spot to rest and relax after several busy days of packing my in-laws for the inevitable move. The location was great and walkable to great restaurants and cafes. Also drivable to the CalfKiller Brewery (best place and even better beer!). Next time we are in the area we will definitely stay here.

This home gives off some major Southern Living vibes!! It had everything, and so much more, that our group of 8 needed. The kitchen is stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need!. The shower upstairs is so luxurious and the private deck off the room was a major bonus! The host was very kind and responsive. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Vicky was such an amazing host. The location is exactly as described in the listing. A coworker and I were there to work Bonnaroo. Vicky offered to cook supper for us one night and even washed some work clothing for us. We had the perfect amount of space and everything was decorated so pretty. The countryside around Vickys place is also beautiful. Don't hesitate to book!!!

We love staying in the Barren Rest! The property is gorgeous, the bed is comfortable, and it was lovely having a kitchen to cook and eat together. We look forward to coming back!

What a great place to stay! A beautiful spot right on the Caney Fork. Fall Creek Falls, Rock Island, and the new Scotts Gulf park were within easy driving distance. The space had everything we needed and more and the hostess Jeanne is the best!

The unit was beautiful and comfortable… we felt right at home! The location was gorgeous and the amenities were wonderful. Will definitely book here again! Thank you!!!

Our family enjoyed staying here - we wish it would have been for longer since the loft was so home-feeling and comfortable. After a long 8 hour drive with a 13-month-old we were able to just rest while he ran around the loft to burn energy (we used the dining chair as a baby gate to the staircase). The bathroom/bedroom were all very clean! The bed was comfortable and the fan in the bedroom was helpful to keep it cool in there all night. The couch and the recliner were all very comfortable too. The view is AMAZING, it’s so peaceful especially watching the bluebirds fly around the barn. The host provides books, board games, Children’s books, TN hike and trail recs, and more! A huge perk for me was the Starbucks k-cups (bring your own liquid creamer).

Very spacious, very clean & adequately equipped. Be prepared for one of the bedrooms to be a walk through to the shared courtyard area - not an issue for us as it happens. Full blinds for privacy if needed. Bring matches / lighter & wood / charcoal for the BBQ & firepits! We were lucky to be able to use charcoal that was left for us (thanks you host) & borrow matches from guests staying upstairs (thanks you!). Hosts were very prompt to communicate & accept our short notice booking. Very pleased with our stay.

searched for a peaceful private tucked away spot for a short getaway and this place was perfect and provided all we needed. it's proximity to town and fun along with its price point checks all the boxes. the house is well furnished and all the needs are met and well thought out. Ours was a short stay but given more time we would have had the opportunity to take advantage of all the place has to offer. the only negative there was for us was being just the two of us that television upstairs would have been nice but I understand the positives that set up creates for larger families staying. can't wait to find an opportunity to come stay again. thanks for a nice weekend!

I rented this cabin over Memorial weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. The place was clean, cozy and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook, and the furniture was comfortable and inviting. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space- whether it was sipping coffee on the porch in the morning or sitting around the fire pit at night, it made for a great atmosphere, thank you Melanie, for being such a great host! We will definitely rent here once again!

We had the most wonderful weekend at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was so cozy and clean, with everything we needed — from all the dishes to fresh linens. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat. We especially loved the back patio, which was so serene and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The location was super cool — it felt like we were tucked away in the woods, yet it was so close to the lake! If you’re in the area, be sure to check out the Cookeville Boat Dock and definitely take the guided kayaking tour with Kayaking of Middle Tennessee to see Burgess Falls — such a memorable experience! Our host was amazing, super responsive and provided us with all the detailed information we needed for our stay. And the decor of the place? Absolutely adorable — we loved the cute little touches throughout. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy getaway!

Summer was a great host and we all had a fantastic time! The cabin was great for our friends trip with plenty of room for 3 couples. The boardwalk down to the dock was absolutely magical at night with all the fireflies and frogs! It was a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and they even provided charcoal for the BBQ and fuel for the tiki torches. We had a great time fishing off the dock and hanging out on the back porch. Great place and we'd happily book again!

Lake N Logs was the perfect weekend getaway for our group! Everything was exactly as described—actually, even better. The photos didn’t do it justice—the views were absolutely incredible. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, and the space was cozy, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Faye was wonderful to communicate with and made everything seamless. We had zero issues and absolutely no complaints. It was the relaxing, peaceful, and much-needed weekend of reconnection we were all hoping for. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved the cabin!! Beautiful views from the decks!! We got to do a little night fishing as well as daytime fishing. Brooke responded quickly and was very helpful with instructions finding the cabin!! We will definitely be back for more fishing adventures! We would have definitely used the kayaks if the water levels had been a little higher and if it wouldn’t have rained so much!

Such a beautiful A-Frame tucked away into such a beautiful location outside of Cookeville and Sparta. We had everything we needed and the kids enjoyed exploring in the woods. Outside of the deer that frequented the property they found a box turtle, woodchuck, and some cool lizards and snails. Anna was kind and responsive the entire 6 weeks we stayed. We’d love to stay again when we return.

I cannot say enough great things about Cedar Bluff Cabin! The cabin is clean, the location is peaceful, and the surrounding area is beautiful. It is very clear that Jeanne takes a lot of pride in her cabin. She has thought of every last detail and included anything that we might need. She even greeted us with local honey, soaps, and candles and she made us cookies! My favorite part is the binder she provides that is full of information about the surrounding area. It includes menus for local restaurants, maps of state parks, pamphlets for local shopping, and more. This was very helpful in navigating what we wanted to do during our visit and Jeanne shared personal recommendations upon request during check-in. Additionally, the cabin is cleaner than any other Airbnb or hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Jeanne’s thoughtfulness made the cabin feel like home. There are many state parks and nature areas nearby too! We would definitely visit again!
