I had a great stay. The place is very easy to find and in a great location. Was very impressed with how clean and organized everything was. Would highly recommend staying at river romance.

Great location: walkable to all of downtown and I felt safe being there with my kids. It is especially hospitable that there are K cups and creamers provided, as well as oil, salt and pepper in the kitchen. Lots of TV streaming options.

Beautiful place to stay. Russ was a great host and very responsive when we had any questions or problems.

5 stars across the board, in every possible way. everything was walkable, and so convenient. the room was just as described. Lindsay made Helen a new normal place we want to visit.

Five Stars! I had a wonderful stay at Kimberly’s place. The location was perfect—quiet, private, and in a peaceful area that made it easy to relax. The home itself was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, cozy, and felt very welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area. Highly recommend!

The two cottages were perfect for our needs! Beautiful wooded area, updated decor and amenities! The two cottages are just aacross the road from each other. Ideal for our extended family!! Alison was very responsive and accommodating-absolutely loved our experience!!

We were so pleased with our decision to book this home especially after being in downtown Helen and seeing the hotels we considered. It is close to town but in a quiet neighborhood— peaceful and great area to walk the dog. The home is spacious- very comfortable living area and large bedrooms. The 2 baths were perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed including 3 different coffee makers and popcorn! A very nice touch. There were plenty of blankets and throws for the cold weather and we loved the fireplace! So cozy! Maklen was super responsive and friendly, much more so than some of the other places I’ve stayed. We highly recommend Maklen and their home.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We loved it so much, this was our 2nd stay. Group of 13 friends just hanging out for the weekend. Things that stand out include the absolutely pristine bathrooms and the fully stocked kitchen. All the pans, utensils, cutting boards, baking pans, etc. you need. Lots of places I've been to don't have things like measuring cups but they have everything. When we had questions, response was fast. Nice common area for everyone to hang out in. Just a great place.

Josh was a very friendly, responsive host and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location of the property was beautiful and close to downtown Helen while still feeling like you’re out in nature. Also the place is huge so had more than enough room for everyone on our trip!

We enjoyed our stay just a quick drive from Main Street in Helen. The accommodations were roomy, and we felt safe in the area. The beds were comfortable. The bones of the place are older, but we didn't run into any issues. For our group of three who planned on eating out, the tight kitchen was fine. For larger groups, consider bringing plastic eating utensils and disposable plates and gloves and kitchen amenities were sparse. There is a Dollar General nearby. Overall we felt that this place was a great value and a great location to do all that we wanted to do in nearby Helen and surrounding national parks. We would stay here again.

The views off the top floor balcony are stunning! A great view of the sunrise over the lake. The house is very large and spacious with all the amenities you would need for a long stay. Well stocked utensils and cookware in the kitchen. A great loft area that turned into our prime hangout spot. Patricia is very quick and responsive and the check-in/out was a breeze.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful place. Amy was really great, and the condo was perfect for our group. Would definitely love to come back for another stay!

Great little weekend getaway for our family of 4 including 2 small children. So many amenities and lots to do. The view from the patio with the porch swing was amazing!

The stay was pleasant! Was worry at first that we wouldn’t be able to have a late checkout but Leonard, was super friendly & helpful. We were able to get the exact schedule we needed. The place was gorgeous, & super comfortable. My partner & i even mentioned wanting a home like this one. It’s a decor that catches your eye. Definitely staying again!
