It was surprisingly quiet. located at the edge of town and thus able to avoid the traffic. Perfect place to stay and walk.

First off, the shower, HOT water and great water pressure! The location is in a great spot and not a bad walk to town. Even better, there’s a liquor store right across the street and Terry huge tubing places 2 blocks away. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

My fiancé and I were looking for a weekend getaway, and this place exceeded our expectations! Just a few minutes’ walk from downtown, it was perfectly located. The highlight? The beautiful sound of church bells right outside our window—they added such a peaceful, charming touch to our stay. Definitely recommend! 💕

The location was perfect. Walkable to everything you’d want to do downtown and right next door to Betty’s Country Store. Having a dedicated parking spot was also a huge plus since parking in town can be a headache. Also only about a 15 drive to some great hiking!

We loved it. The host was responsive and very helpful. The location is perfect. I should probably say that it didn’t feel that different than a hotel in a sense that all you really get is a bed and bathroom. No breakfast or even coffee was provided. Other than that its great

Very comfortable 2 bed, 2.5 bath apartment which matched description and photos exactly. 2 beds upstairs each with their own en suite and television. The .5 bath is on the main floor with the kitchen , dining and living space. Quiet little neighborhood off the main street but completely walkable to downtown Helen's shops and attractions making the location fantastic. Would not hesitate to recommend to family or friends that may want to visit Helen, GA. Check-in process was a breeze with James sending codes and pictured step by step instructions. A basket of pamphlets with local and surrounding area attractions and entertainment options is useful in filling any downtime that you may have on your trip. Check out to do list was extremely minimal - only start the dishwasher if needed.

Great place to stay outside of the village but still in town. There are plenty of places to stop in as you stroll into town.

we enjoy our stay, and wanted to book another night while laying in bed. the bed was super super comfy. everything went according to plan, james was always responsive when needed. everything is in walking distance for the most part and it’s super peaceful. we certainly felt right at home and didn’t want to leave.

Great host! Was awesome in helping us make some last minute accommodations. Will def be using again for future visits !

Me and 6 other friends stayed here for Helen’s Oktoberfest. We love the place and the location. Very spacious. Friendly neighbors too.

James was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Nice place.

Rex’s place was by far the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in! The accommodations were brand new, clean and super cute. You cannot get a better location it is right in the heart of Helen steps to the Main Street. Communication with Rex was fantastic via text message and the Airbnb app. I highly recommend.

Stephen’s beautiful place was perfect!! Walkable to everything we wanted or needed. The elevator is a big plus—we were 4 “seniors” and very comfortable. The linens, kitchen, bathrooms, screened porches all are so nice. It was convenient to be near Betty’s Grocery and Bar~~ we could shop, eat delicious food and drinks. There are two “mom and pop” pizza places next door, plus a bakery across the street! Would highly recommend Helen and Back Food Tours. We did that the second day of our trip and learned so much about the town, and experienced 5 restaurants. Our host Stephen called us right before we checked in and explained how to use the door locks and elevator—he was very helpful and super friendly! We will highly recommend his place to others!

We had such a wonderful time! The cabin was in a small neighborhood on the top of a mountain. You could not see any of your neighbors because of the thick vegetation. The house was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. The directions on how to do different things were provided. We had one question about checking out, and Peter answered it promptly. Thank you so much Peter for such a great time. We will definitely be back and recommend it to our friends.
