Great family week in Whanganui. Our place was amazing, comfortable, great vibe, relaxing, loved the pool and deck with outdoor bath. Wished we could stay longer. Ken and Jess so helpful and responsive, very friendly. Would love to stay there again.

This is a great wee place, the gardens and surrounds are lovely. It was a shame it was the middle of winter, because the pool looked great too. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. Really felt like a home away from home.

What an adventure! Such an awesome home. Plenty of space for three generations of our family to relax. Well provisioned kitchen made catering easy. The home was toasty warm and the beds very comfortable.

Booked this property for 2 work colleagues. They absolutely loved the property. It was so peaceful and easy to find, the hosts were super friendly and helpful, it had everything you needed. They would not hesitate to stay again. They will definitely be back when they are in the area.

The beach house if very nice and homey. We are a family of 7 and we were able to cook and relax the only thing I can suggest is to put some lights on the terrace area specially if the guests are having dinner on it. But overall if was a good experience.

Fantastic whanganui bach! Much nicer in real life than the pictures. We appreciated all the little bits of design, pottery, and books. Lovely garden and outdoor area to have an afternoon drink or a bit of yoga. Can hear the wild beach sounds !

It was as described. The floor level was disconcerting at first but not a problem once got used to it, and this will be fixed soon anyway. Heater was Wonderful. Kitchen well supplied. Nice quiet spot in easy walking distance to town and Virginia Lake. Rachel very helpful and responsive. I have a very restful time.

What an incredible stay we had. This home is perched over Virginnia Lake in Whanganui, and is idyllic. It is modern but homely. The artwork is spectacular. The bedrooms divine. It has all the amenities needed to make for a wonderful stay. Tessa was an awesome host who responded quickly to any queries. Thanks for having us. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful location with incredible views across the hills and of the night sky. We needed a peaceful bolthole, and this was exactly what Craig's place offered. The house is very clean, well kitted out, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Any questions I had were answered by Craig in record time: he even visited to show me how to use the fireplace when I couldn't work something out. Thank you for the great stay, Craig and family!
