Vacation rentals with breakfast in Whanganui

This is such a lovely home to stay in. Beautifully furnished and feels so private with the outside deck and secure fencing. The fridge and pantry were well stocked. It was a shame we didn't stay longer to really enjoy the cottage. Lynette is a lovely friendly host. Thank you!

Loved the house and location... views spectacular. great place for a large group... there were twelve of us and did not feel crowded. close to town and the markets. Better than we expected. Will recommend it to friends and family traveling to Whanganui.

myself and grandchildren loved Cecile's place..homely and has everything our lil family needed even the extras of brekky stuff, spreads, bread, milk ..truly appreciated when showing up with X4 young children ..We had a dip in pool abit cool at this time of year but refreshing ..

“A Perfect Stay with Stunning Views!” I had an amazing stay at this AirBnB! The location was perfect—peaceful, yet close to everything I needed. One of the highlights was the beautiful walk nearby, which offered breathtaking views that made every morning feel magical. Whether enjoying a cup of coffee outside or taking in the scenery during a stroll, the surroundings were absolutely stunning. This was my second stay at Ohm home, the first time being 5 years ago when I stayed here for 7 days on my own. This time was with my partner and since staying here the first time I’ve always raved about this stay and looked fondly back at the photos I’d taken. As great as the place looks from photos, nothing is as incredible and picturesque as actually being there and wow did it still amaze me being back again. The home itself is amazing, spotlessly clean with all the amenities and some very nice extra touches to make the stay that much nicer. The views and environment there are truly special and unique and I’ve not found any other place to be able to so easily feel at peace and truly switch off and relax. We will definitely be staying here again and I don’t think there will ever be another stay and experience even close to Ohm home. Thank you so much Raquel and Eduard for providing such a special place!

Lovely home we were last minute book and they accommodated us so well

Thanks so much for hosting my son and two of the students he coaches. He said the place was fantastic, well beyond what he was expecting. He felt very comfortable there. I so appreciated the communication beforehand and thank you so much for checking in with them to see if they needed additional blankets.

Beautiful place, the owner baked us a fresh loaf which was amazing. Really appreciate how friendly the owner was, left us to our own devices after a nice hello. The sculpture garden was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake. Perfect in the evening to cozy up and watch something on the smart TV with some Air-Con too. We’ll be back as soon as we can!

Everything was exactly as the listing had said. The space was very private, very quiet and relaxing to be in. The space was very clean and extremely well equipped. My wife and i both said it could easily be a place to stay in for a week or two, as it had everything needed. Thank you very much Gail!

The beautiful historic Fire Station has been transformed into a posh home decor store on the ground level and some very nice apartments on the first floor. Beautifully finished hardwood floors, large rooms and high ceilings give a sense of grandeur to the place. We enjoyed the comfortable leather couches and chairs in the living room. When we needed a bigger pot for cooking and some extra hangers for clothes, the host, though out of town that weekend, responded immediately and had the maid bring them over. The apartment is very walkable to all the attractions downtown and, if you have a car, there is a secure parking place in the courtyard. There can be a bit of road noise outside the bedrooms, but not so much that earplugs can’t handle. We would recommend staying at this beautiful apartment if you want a convenient place to stay in Whanganui.

This is a high quality beautiful place to stay. The hosts have thought of everything you need to be comfortable. The decor is divine. Only issue would prefer lock on suite door.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fran’s. Very private and lovely rooms. We especially loved the great breakfast selection. Easy contactless entry to the rooms and peaceful location. Fran is very friendly and accomodating. We would stay there again if ever we travelled back to the Manawatu.

I stayed at the Gumnut B&B for just two nights on a road trip through Whanganui. The guest space is large enough to be an apartment because there is a lounge and dining room as well as a bedroom and dedicated bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and generous. I spent my first afternoon on the porch enjoying the cool breeze and pleasant weather with views of the garden. The neighborhood is quiet at night and felt safe. I walked into downtown to explore Whanganui. Maryann and Barry were friendly hosts and Maryann stopped to chat with me when she had time. I recommend staying at the Gumnut B&B and I would gladly stay again.

Anne was an amazing host. Very friendly great conversation. Felt right at home. Would highly recommend a stay here and we would definitely stay again if we return to Feilding.

We really enjoyed our stay at Saj’s place. There was so much attention to detail, like the variety of breakfast options and washing products. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. We stayed for 13 days and it was a pleasure. Super nice hosts, a tidy and beautiful room, comfortable beds, and an awesome walk along the river. We 100% recommend this place!
