Waterfront vacation rentals in Westmoreland County

We went to Southern Maryland to celebrate our 44th Wedding Anniversary as it was where we met back in high school. We were greeted at Tom & Michele’s place with a sweet chalkboard message, flowers and a nice little cake to help us feel special and celebrated. That was very kind. Their apartment is extremely clean and very comfortable. The backyard is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. We didn’t need help with navigating the area as we grew up there so we spent most of our time visiting places from our youth. Tom & Michele reached out to us during our visit to make sure we were doing okay. We are quiet people and don’t require a lot of assistance so it was nice to be asked but we were good. For us it was nice to have a chance to spend quiet time alone together and Tom & Michele gave us that. Should we find ourselves back in Southern MD we would definitely stay there again. So very peaceful. Loved watching the birds fly off an on to the neighboring pier. Fit our needs perfectly and with the well stocked kitchen we were able to prepare our Thanksgiving meal.

This place is adorable! And it's right on the water! The space is well appointed and well designed with high-end touches. The bed was comfy, too. I'd highly recommend this apartment for couples who are looking for a quiet getaway.

This is a beautiful waterfront property located close to everything that Lexington Park had to offer. The host has organized the apartment very neatly with lots of useful information and entertainment. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again

We wanted peace and quiet and that’s what it offered. Our children sent me for my birthday. We arrived at night so it was hard to see the address that’s when we realized others were on the property. Very clean and fresh. A few more kitchen amenities would have been nice. A nice touch of a birthday balloon and treats. We would come back again. Thanks

We loved our stay! Lori’s backyard is so beautiful and full of nature. We spent a lot of time sitting in the yard taking in the view! Her Airbnb is awesome, very clean, super comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Our family felt like home here! Brittany was very friendly, kind and responsive. The location was great, right next to the water and restaurants. My children really enjoyed. A plus was having the pack and play for my baby. Thank you so much to Brittany for making the stay feel very welcome 🙏🤗

Our second time here! An absolutely adorable gem of an Airbnb with the nicest hosts and most beautiful garden and dock on the River! Great restaurant recommendations, super comfortable beds, and lovely living room. Perfect for families visiting the beloved St. Mary’s River.

This is our 2nd time being here and we were not disappointed! This house has a beautiful view. Pooja is a wonderful host. We were welcome with a basket of snacks. Kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked. Pooja provided more than enough for our stay and we had everything we need. House is clean and beds are comfortable. My family had a great time fishing and kayaking. Thanks Pooja for your hospitality!

Less than .5 miles from sand . The kids loved staying at the house versus a hotel ! Was the perfect spot to relax and go on the deck to hear the water . Would definitely go back for another vacation.

The location on the Potomac River is stunningly beautiful and relaxing. Craig was super responsive and helpful. The large lot next to the house is special. We had so much room for activities and spent all of our time outside next to the river. It was like having our own personal park on the water. The dock is also a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty.

Had a great weekend in the Northern Neck here! We watched a pod of dolphins and stingrays from the backyard, enjoyed easy access to nearby parks, and had a great time cooking in the kitchen. This is seemingly a very recently renovated house, and all the towels, sheets, beds, etc. seemed brand new as well. It was super clean, super comfy, and the hosts were very responsive! I liked that the property was surrounded on one side by forest as well—it was nice and quiet and secluded. Finally, they have a super cute collection of board games disguised as old timey books. I'd definitely stay here again!

Cute place in a small community of vacation homes. They don't call the area Tall Timbers for nothing. I like the corner market up the road, the restaurant and bar are old school, friendly, and lively - packed with locals.

5/5 stars! This stay was exactly what me and my boyfriend needed!! Definitely fair pricing for the privacy and area. Private dock right across the street for tanning and swimming, screened in porch, stocked kitchen for cooking needs, and linens provided. House was very clean and homey, and the town was walkable and cute. Perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway. We mostly read, cooked, tanned, and stayed in. Not much in terms of local attractions, but perfect for a private, quiet & peaceful getaway. Hosts were very professional, friendly, responsive, and gave us all the info we needed. Checkout was easy too. Thank you!! Would definitely stay again.

The views are amazing!! Water view from main bedroom, living room, dining area AND kitchen. Plenty of space for every one. The bedrooms are very roomy. Host was very responsive and flexible with check in/check out. I highly recommend!
