Peaceful rural cottage on large lake + Extra Annex

SaskiaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time at John's place. We wish we could have stayed longer. One of the few Airbnbs which is so much nicer in real life than on the pictures. Pictures cannot capture this tranquil place. Peaceful, idyllic place and grounds. The paths were lovely with bluebells and it felt like a little adventure hiking around the grounds. The sheep with their lambs were lovely to see through the bedroom window every morning. Tom the resident cat (outside) was a sweet addition to our stay. Always friendly and greeting us for cuddles many times throughout the day. Can really recommend for a family stay and for people who want a peaceful and quiet time in the countryside with lovely walks and beautiful views. Hope we'll be able to make it back in the future. We loved it.

Beautiful Farm Cottage

LauraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Emma and Ronan are fabulous hosts! Their cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need. Their children are lovely and showed us all the animals and we were able to feed the lambs! Fresh eggs from the hens in the morning were perfect. This is our second time staying here and we are booked in again for September. I highly recommend this cottage if you are visiting Ireland ☘️

Cosy groundfloor studio

CeciliaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Thanks for a lovely week. I was on a course at the ETB in Athlone and it was very handy. It was full on, so it was lovely to get home in the evenings to a cosy apartment to chill out. Loved the chez longue. I fell asleep in it twice! And I did appreciate being escorted to my door each night by the canine welcoming committee, making sure I was settled 😍😍

Sarahs Cottage @Pheasant Lane

LynnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Geraldine and Derek are the perfect hosts. Totally felt at home on arrival and the lovely touch of fresh milk, bread, eggs and bread was a lovely welcoming touch. Highly recommend Geraldines reflexology amd back massage including cupping. Just put us into relaxation mode straight away. Sarahs cottage was perfect and our 2 little dogs loved running around the garden. Gear location for trabelling to various tourist attractions. Need to go back to see more as 2 days was not enough. You will not be disappointing if you want tranquility and relaxation

Mill View Cottage @Pheasant Lane

VictoriaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
A peaceful, quiet and tranquil place surrounded by trees and nature. Close to the main road but far enough away thanks to the country lane to the accommodation. Lots of local sights and walks just a few minutes drive. There is a local shop just 5 minutes drive but also supermarkets 30 minutes away too. So in short it feels miles away from civilisation but any amenities are close at hand.

Iris Cottage @Pheasant Lane

TonyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Thank you Geraldine for a wonderful stay at your accommodation. Geraldine is a fabulous host, very communicative, polite and our check in was seamless. The accommodation was tastefully decorated with all that you need for stay. The kitchen is well stocked and Geraldine left fresh produce which was a lovely touch. If you want to escape your busy life, this is the place to come and relax and unwind. There are two hot tubs that can be accessed 24/7. Also Geraldine offers alternative therapies and we availed of full body massage and reflexology. Both treatments were really good and added to our relaxing stay. There is a big BBQ pit that can be used and a smaller one right our the back of your accommodation. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back in the future. Wishing the best for you Geraldine. Tony & Clíona
