Vacation rentals with breakfast in Westmeath

Julie and Michael provided a really lovely continental breakfast, far superior to a standard continental breakfast. They were also so kind and helpful with my checkout. I had two small kids and all their stuff to pack into the car while it was raining. They helped me pack everything and really alleviated a lot of potential stress. Would definitely stay again with them.

Julie was such a lovely hostess, helping make our last day in Ireland one to remember fondly. Her thoughtfulness was a perfect send-off to the Dublin airport for these two Canadians, following our 'all too brief' holiday in gorgeous, springtime Ireland! We can highly recommend Julie's hospitality and beautiful home. It was easy to find with GPS on Julie's quiet street. Her abode is immaculate, welcoming and very tastefully decorated. The top of the stairs guest room we slept soundly in had a super comfortable bed, and is situated right next to a spacious, and classy modern bathroom. We hope to return one day!

We had a fantastic stay at Maire and Declan's house. They were warmly welcoming us, great to chat with and the room was excellent.

Alison and her family were fabulously welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Amazing room and bathroom!

I can’t say enough about our experience at Catherine’s. Her home was beautiful, spotless and we felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. Loved the fact that there was a restaurant within walking distance. Catherine’s homemade scones and breads were incredible. We can’t wait to go back.

Staying with Alice was amazing. She is very caring and honest, as well as fun and lively. The bed is very comfortable and the room is cozy and clean. Having a nice cup of tea by the fire in the evening was a nice treat after a tiring day at work. I enjoyed staying here and will definitely repeat it. A great host in a great place.

This airbnb is a very special sanctuary. The most delightful stay we’ve ever had in dozens and dozens of Airbnb stays. Athlone is a nice, clean city with a lot to offer, but we would return solely due to Paul and Lucia, and their beautiful home. Note some stairs and a slanted ceiling in part of the bathroom (carefully navigated 5'7" and 6'2"). Water pressure is great. Lots of light and amazing outdoor space as noted in listing. Listing photos are nice, but the real thing is fabulous beyond expectation!

Paula has an amazingly lovely home and bar. The locals were friendly, offered us food, and drink, and music. The inn was cozy, slept fantastically though a little warm for our bodies used to air conditioning. We only passed through for 2 days but wished we had stayed longer. Just a dream spot. There was even a local cat that walked with us around the property and protected us from another cat. Paula was an interstellar level host. She helped me for weeks before my check in plan my besties 30th birthday. Helped me find a cake, picked it up, and the more. Recommended an amazing restaurant that all of my picky eating party enjoyed. Will definitely be back and recommend to several friends.

I am traveling with my husband and my in-laws. We all loved our stay at Deirdre’s old rectory so very much! I felt like I was living in a novel and could envision Jane Austen or Elizabeth Bennet out walking in the fields. Deirdre is so friendly and kind. She told us the history of the home and even called a friend of hers by the name of Fagan to get some information on the Fagans of Ireland. (My maiden name is Feagin.) In addition to the beautiful, old rectory, Deirdre is a wonderful cook! Our breakfast was such a treat, but the traditional Irish soda bread was my absolute favorite part complete with five different jellies all homemade by Deirdre using fruit grown by either her or her friend. Lovely experience and one I won’t soon forget!

We came in during the worst storm in Irelands history and Margaret and her son did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. We were treated like family and had a wonderful time with lots of good tea and long chats. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Athlone area.
