Glückstadt, the gem on the Elbe, is centrally located in Schleswig-Holstein. From here, both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, as well as the Hamburg metropolitan region, can be reached in a short time. Among other things, Glückstadt is located on the Elbe Cycle Route as well as on the Mönchsweg and is also a worthwhile vacation destination for cycling tourists. Our apartment is located outside the city center. On foot you can reach it in about 20 minutes along the idyllic Fleth to the harbor, the jetty, the dike or the market square.

Northwest of Hamburg in beautiful Schleswig Holstein is our lovingly furnished 48 sqm apartment with terrace and garden. There is a kitchen with stove, oven and refrigerator, a shower room and bedroom with double bed and TV. In the immediate vicinity is a small lake. The rural quiet location is ideal for a break, bike tours and inline skating, but also offers a good starting point for trips to the North Sea and the Baltic Sea or to Hamburg, Kiel and Glückstadt.

Smoking is allowed outside (e.g. balcony). Please note the parking instructions. The garden is private and not accessible.

Horst's time out

My time-out Horst stands for real picture book country life. There are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields nearby. And the tranquility, of course. The Elbe and the dyke can be reached in 15-20 min. by car. Here you will find a real beach with great gastronomy From about May to autumn. You can also reach Hamburg in 30 minutes. All relevant shopping facilities are about 1.6-2 km away. In about 3 km. Distance is the train stop. A car is useful here!

Caravan on the Stör/Mönchsweg

Especially for cyclists who are on the Mönchsweg, this vintage caravan offers the perfect accommodation. But also for other guests who are drawn to our beautiful Kellinghusen. The trailer is about 800 m from the swimming pool and the first shopping facilities. To the rear you have an unobstructed view of meadows and fields. The path to Kellinghusen leads along the dike. Looking over the dike, you have a view of a beautiful wetland with frogs and birds.

Here you will find peace, inspiration and a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our yurt is located in a 5-hectare magical park in the most beautiful nature. Surrounded by ponds, ancient trees and fascinating wildlife. Four comfortable box-spring beds ensure a cozy and relaxing night's sleep. A wood stove provides cozy warmth. A very special place and personal retreat that can help you recharge, unwind or have time for yourself.

The accommodation is a pearl at the gates of Hamburg and is located directly on the Stör. It consists of a charming thatched cottage, which has been lovingly designed down to the smallest detail. In addition, the property has a unique 400 square meter glass house. Yoga, table tennis, food & drink and dancing...everything is possible here. On the illuminated boules court you can play here with a cool rosé until late at night. Delightful.

The in-law is located in Kellinghusen in the immediate vicinity of the Stör and the Aukrug Nature Park. The scenic surroundings in and around Kellinghusen offers many possibilities for outdoor activities, e.g. for canoe tours and excursions by bike. The outdoor swimming pool of Kellinghusen is right around. The train station from Wrist with train connections to Hamburg, Kiel, Neumünster, Pinneberg and Elmshorn is only 5 km away.

For day trips, the North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts are only an hour away. We, your hosts, live in the adjoining house and will be happy to assist you. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space that has been completely renovated. The double bed + side bed have high-quality mattresses. The coffee maker rounds everything off. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to conjure up something to eat. A few drinks + snacks are provided. On the premises there is an indoor tennis court + a small bistro "Onkel Paul," where Fri.+Sat.+Sun.

There is a train station 4 km (2.5 miles) away, and the ferry across the Elbe is 10 minutes away. The sweeping view over the pastures and into nature makes you forget about everyday life.
