Beachfront vacation rentals in Westbrook

This is an excellent house in an excellent location of the northern KZN coast. Beach is a small stroll away and the house is designed in a very functional way, with a big common area but very private bedrooms. One of my best finds on AirBnB.

The house has amazing ocean views and the sound of the waves was a beautiful background to our stay. A few steps from the beach, we had a wonderful time.

What can I say except WOW! Started off the day watching the sun rise over the ocean while enjoys a wonderful cup of tea on the two chairs dedicated to Nono and Maxime. We could then walk down to Thompson Bay beach directly from the garden. When a day in the waves was over, a short walk up the steps to the outdoor shower by the pool for a quick dip then a quick braai on the amazing stainless steel braai by the pool. To end it all, going to sleep with the doors open listening to the waves crashing all night! And in the morning, Elizabeth was there to sort out our messy dishes and Russel washed off all the kids beach toys…. I can’t recommend the place enough and hope to be back next year. Thank you Denise and team, truly amazing trip xx

Absolutely to die for. Waking up to the most breathtaking sunrises and dolphin sightings—it honestly felt like a slice of paradise. The home itself was immaculate and beautifully designed. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was our host. She went above and beyond every single day—bringing us fresh coffee each morning (yes, really!), aand treating us with such genuine kindness. Nothing was ever too much trouble. It felt less like staying at an Airbnb and more like being welcomed into someone's lovingly cared-for haven. We’ve stayed in many places, but this one? It’s something special. It’s the kind of place you start planning your return to before you've even left. Can’t recommend it highly enough—we'll absolutely be back 💃

Douglas our host is fabulous, always a message away alongside Thulani our caretaker who lives on site while maintaining privacy for us guests. The facilities are more than perfect for us three adults and we slept like babies. Book the house and you will be blown away. Thank you for having us, we will come back again.

Thank you Chad for a great stay ! The location of your home is perfect and the views from the house overlooking the sea and lagoon are spectacular. It was very peaceful sitting on the deck watching the sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped but lacking a dishwasher. Overall a great experience !

Janine was very helpful, reaching out before our arrival and asking if we needed anything. She was timely in addressing requests we had, and accommodating additional asks we sent her way. The place is as presented, and a wonderful neighborhood with everything you need a short distance away. Will definitely be back if in Balito again

It's a wonderful place! The apartment is very spacious, bigger than it looked in the photos. Everything is very clean and brand new. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The territory is close and you feel safe in the apartment. The beach is very close, literally 5 minutes on foot. But the veranda won our hearts, the whole family spent most of our time there playing games and talking! The ocean view is mesmerizing. Many thanks to the hosts! Candice was in touch all the time, helped with all the questions very quickly. Special thanks for the opportunity for flexible check-in and check-out! Will definitely come back and recommend to our friends!

What a beautiful place, absolutely clean and had everything we needed. We felt right at home . It is right by the beach and also walking distance to the restaurants. Jess is also an amazing host.

Amazing views of the ocean from the balcony with the most beautiful sunrise. The place is located in a peaceful area. Parking available at no extra cost. Security at the gate is very helpful and friendly. Gordon & Joy are perfect hosts with great expensive taste. Absolutely loved the artwork!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by every bedroom’s stunning sea views, impeccable cleanliness with thoughtful touches like blackout shutters and fully equipped kitchen where we carb-loaded like champions. When I shared our comrades marathon story/journey with the host, she was very supportive of our initiative and shared a messages of support. Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway or running the Comrades and need a serene, well equipped base camp, this place offers the perfect setting. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return!

Really enjoyed this peaceful unit. It is modern and spotless. Hosts graciously helped me out when I had to leave my other AirBnB early in the day. I opted for suggestion to go to a nearby mall for lunch. Uber is available but having a car (got one from nearby airport) made things easier. Stocked up on groceries from Woolworths. Strongly recommend this waterfront property. Views are from side balcony but still beautiful.

Great weather, nice and sunny in the Dolphin coast. Quick and easy access to the beach. Lovely unit, it was clean and the essentials were provided. Quite a few steps going up and down if you don’t want to take the long way around and up the unit. The host was very responsive when in need. We had a good time. No complaints.

Loved the apartment, really comfortable and the location was wonderful, so close to the boardwalk and ocean and near the little town of Ballitoville. Really great place!
