Family-friendly vacation rentals in West Yellowstone

Mariah’s condo was extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable. Appliances are up to date, the kitchen was great for preparing large meals, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The hot tub was also a huge plus after a day of skiing.

If you are looking for a spectacular location and ski in/ski out access to bug sky. This location is for you. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the mountains and slopes - exactly what we were looking for and we found it.

We had a very pleasant stay al Philippe's place, location was great, townhome was cozy, modern, well equipped and big enough to accommodate our party of six. Hot tub was a nice feature. Highly recommended place in Big Sky.

Rob, timeshare was ideal for my family, we could cook food every night since there was few choices for dinner for vegans, there a close by super market where u can get groceries to stack up for your Yellowstone visit. The game room and the swimming pool are a added benefit. Overall great play and close by to the entrance of the west entrance of the park. Rob was a great host.

This was a great place to stay, very close to town center, and a quick 10-15 minute drive to the mountain resort for skiing. Beau was great to communicate with, he was proactive and provided instructions and recommendations a few days prior to our stay. The condo was super clean and was a great cozy place for our family to stay for the week.

Amazing house, beautiful scenery, and within a quick drive to Big Sky...exactly what our group was looking for on our ski trip. Kael was super responsive to our questions and even left a few beers for us in the fridge upon arrival. Already planning to come back next season!

House was easy to find with Google and had beautiful views. Kitchen was outfitted well enough for reheating and baking. Checkout was super easy, no complicated instructions. All in all a gorgeous spot and comfy place to stay!

The house was gorgeous and in a beautiful location up in the hills just outside of Big Sky. 10 out of 10 definitely would stay here again. Stay Montana did a great job of communicating with us throughout the entire stay and was quick to answer any questions that we had.

Arthur’s hand made log cabin is beautiful! The pictures of the house and the surrounding natural environment don’t do it justice. The 2 story wall of windows facing the river allows you to observe the wildlife, the mountains, and the beautiful river even when you’re inside. The cabin is very well stocked with everything you need and is well organized. I loved cooking in the fabulous kitchen! We used the gas fireplace at night and in the mornings when it was still chilly. Wildlife is abundant and we saw multiple moose, including a mother and 2 calves, white pelicans, osprey, otter, falcons, a mule deer, a great blue heron, and tons of fish. We were very sad to leave and hope to return soon. It was the perfect out west vacation.

Great cabin. It was just what we wanted. Everything was clean and well stocked. We loved the pool table and ping pong to enjoy family time in the evenings. Beautiful forest surroundings. We’ll definitely be back!

Barbara and Jim’s home was perfect for our family of 6 to spread out, have some privacy, and still spend time together. Barbara was responsive and available when we had questions about trash pick up. We would definitely stay here again! We had a wonderful time!

The pictures did not do it justice inside or out it was beautiful inside and out. Gorgeous llake view with eagles and deer. We had no issues and enjoyed our stay. Lower level bedroom was perfect for my elderly parents which was a bonus. 3 other rooms upstairs. Plenty to do in the area but less than 30 minutes from wast Yellowstone. Will definitely be back!

Great location easy access to Yellowstone. Place was super clean. Unrelated to the cabin we highly recommend Buffalo Bar in west Yellowstone but do not recommend slippery Otter unfortunately we had a few upset stomachs after.

The location couldn’t have been better—just a quick 15-minute drive to Big Sky, making it easy to hit the slopes. We skied four days, and coming back to the cabin felt like a true retreat. Mornings started with coffee by the crackling fire, and evenings wrapped up with cocktails in the same cozy setting. The super comfortable bed was a dream after active days, and the heated bathroom was a small yet thoughtful luxury that made all the difference after chilly adventures. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet cozy escape near Big Sky, this cabin is an absolute gem. The thoughtful design, unbeatable comfort, and prime location make it a place we can’t wait to return to!

Cozy and clean cabin, 40 mins drive to yellow stone park. Jake is super friendly and quick responding. 10/10 Recommend!

This is our 2nd time to stay here. It’s always clean on arrival. We only slept in the gray bedroom and the mattress is wonderful. Love the area and especially the beautiful Paradise Valley rainbows! This duplex is our home away from home! Til next time Stacey! Thanks

This trip was in celebration of our 35th anniversary. It did not disappoint. We had an incredible stay and the Airbnb is right on the Yellowstone River! The beds were very comfortable, the shower was amazing and it had the cutest little kitchenette. It was easy to walk to various eateries and gift shops. Friendly host and very informative before and after our arrival. 10/10 Will book again if we ever find ourselves back in Montana and Yellowstone National Park.

I just wanted to point out the beautiful & well-stocked kitchen! There was everything we needed (condiments, oil) and utensils/dishware were in pristine condition.

We loved this venue for our family Christmas party. Lots of space, great game room and theater. We will stay again!!!

Perfect location only 5 minutes (at most) to the park. Very clean and although small perfect for what we needed as we spent most of our time in the park. Price is fair considering location and in comparison to others in Gardiner. Maya was helpful and very responsive. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed staying here! The river view was absolutely gorgeous. Everything in the home was well labeled and instructions were posted everywhere. We even got to see a baby elk from the place for a few days. Communication was proactive and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

We LOVED this space. Little self contained cabin felt private and inviting. Bed was comfy and the deck chairs were a wonderful spot to have morning coffee in the sunshine - WHAT A VIEW! We also liked that it was so close to Chico Hot Springs and not a giant drive to Yellowstone or Livingstone for meals. Unfortunately the for the four days we were there, three of the days didn't have the coffee shop or the BBQ place open, but the day it was open, was fantastic. Live music, gluten free options and very friendly people. We would highly recommend and would love to return. Thanks for the great stay!
