Townhome vacation rentals in West Virginia

Cute and cozy place. We had 5 adults, an infant and a large dog and had plenty of room. Location was central to Blackwater Falls, Canaan Valley and 30 minutes from Seneca Rocks. Great place to stay.

We had a great time and the check in process was seamless. Keith was proactive and very responsive.

Enjoyed my stay. Building is one half of a 2 unit townhome but felt very private, both inside and out. Hot tub and fireplace both were easy to work with clear instructions for hot tub use. Place was clean and cozy with comfortable beds. Location was convenient to the ski areas, and a nice view of Timberline was available through the trees from the back porch or hot tub area. The office for check in was about a 6 minute drive from the property, and check in was hassle free, with a simple pick up and drop off box for the keys. Matt was responded very quickly (less than 10 minutes) to a question I had while driving to the property. Kitchen appliances are a little old but everything is perfectly functional and well stocked in terms of dishes and cookware. It’s a great value and I would recommend to others.

Our family of 6 enjoyed our time on the mountain! The house was comfortable and had what we needed. The short walk to Powder Ridge run and lift was appreciated. The restaurants were good and the shuttle buses were great. No need to drive after arrival. Get groceries before heading up the mountain. The hot tub was not operable when we were there, which was disappointing to some of our group but overall we had a great trip.

This was our 2nd time staying here and both times were wonderful. Great location, extra clean and well stocked with essentials. The Host was very responsive. The front porch is great for morning coffee :)

We've visited Snowshoe several times, and this was my favorite ski in ski out location! Parking great and the shuttle made going to the village super easy. Cabin was clean and spacious for our family.

We always visit Snowshoe the weekend before Christmas and have stayed at Summit. Our family has grown and we needed a bigger space. We booked this property and we all loved it. Lots of room to spread out, large kitchen for preparing meals and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to the village with a 2 year old toddler and had no problem. Powder monkey lift was out the front door. We will definitely book again for next year! Angela B

We booked James’s place at the last minute, and we chose it for the location rather than the accommodation. However, when we arrived we had a wonderful surprise, because it was much nicer than the photos had let us to believe. It was spacious and comfortable, with a good-sized kitchen and a lovely sitting area. The kids loved having the playground outside, and it was amazing to soak in the hot tub surrounded by snow, watching the stars come out. We also enjoyed using the indoor swimming pool and games room, and visiting the ponies at the riding centre. The kids sledded down the hill outside and we also went sledding at Blackwater Falls, which was fantastic. The waterfall looked so beautiful with all the icicles. We didn’t have time to try Timberline, but the skiing at Canaan Valley was reasonably priced and great fun. We also had a few nice meals in Davis and Thomas, and a beautiful walk to Douglas falls. Overall, it was a fabulous stay and we will definitely come again if we can…

The place was beautiful and peaceful, very spacious and nicely decorated. We were surprised by how many amenities there were as well as all the extras (tea, coffee, condiments, cleaning supplies and even some board games.) Chris was also kind enough to reply to any questions quickly. Will definitely be staying here again when I visit!

our second time staying. always responsive and friendly. house is just a described. the only down side it parking is a little tight. other than that the place works great for our needs

Nicely furnished terraced home on a private communal driveway. Good and quiet neighbourhood with easy access to shops and main roads. Comfortable beds and all necessary equipment provided. It was the perfect home for our two week visit and we would highly recommend it to anyone. It is a perfect home from home.

House was clean and well equipped for our stay . Great downtown location in walking distance to everything . Road traffic was a little noisy in the 1 bedroom but you’ll have that in a downtown location . Would stay again.

My friends and I were looking for a place to stay last minute and this was the PERFECT place for us. Great location as it’s close to the WVU stadium, very clean and overall just a great stay. Host was very accommodating and made overall process very easy. Would definitely stay here again!

This Airbnb was a very nice place to stay. Very clean and a warm and cozy space. The catwalk to get to powder ridge lift is right behind the house so even when there is low snow coverage it’s a very easy walk in ski boots to get to. Would highly recommend!

This home worked out perfectly for my video production team while shooting a project at Summit Point Motorsports Park. We were able to park our production vans safely in the driveway and use the gym area to unload equipment without issue. Home was clean, well described and documented, and very comfortable.

Maggie's place was incredible! Cozy but spacious. Right at the trails. Minimal walk to the shops and restaurants, or a simple shuttle ride. We preferred the walk though. The mountain views were intense! The sunset was awesome inspiring. Couldn't ask for a better host. Expectations were reasonable and what you would expect. We get much felt right at home and completely unburdened from Maggie's clear instructions and communications. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing stay for me and my friends for a weekend of snowboarding. This place is on the lore quiet, less trafficy side of the mountain and near the easiest slopes if youre a beginner!

This is a beautiful home. The location is a bit away from the village… but we prefer that! It’s much less hectic than the village, yet you can ski to lift right across the street. It’s a perfect place for a large group. We only had 4 adults and a child, so we had more than enough room. Plus we were able to take our dog which is important to us. The one gripe I have and this is more with Airbnb… is the cleaning fee. We were there for about 36 hours and paid $275 cleaning fee. If we had a full house for a week, then the cleaning fee would be reasonable, but for a small group for a short stay, it is an excessive amount. Plus, we cleaned up after ourselves, ran the dishwasher and took the trash out.

Great place super close to Timberline, Canaan Valley and Whitegrass. Home is clean and comfortable, with a well appointed kitchen and lots of games and entertainment for bad weather.

We had a great stay! Close to everything and a great view. Everything inside was clean and well appointed. I highly recommend this place. We even got a special visit from a herd of deer that ate out of hands at the back door.

I keep thinking that some airbnbs I’ve stayed at could never be topped, but in terms of amenities Sherrie’s place takes my all-time top spot. While the pictures don’t depict it, the home was stocked full of anything you could possibly want or need. Dozens of games? Check. Toys to keep young kids entertained? Check. Snacks and coffee options? Check! A TV that’s big enough to actually see the screen? Check. Supportive and comfy beds? Check. Even the linen closet was stocked with toiletry items should a guest forget something. All of these things don’t cover half of it—this place feels just as comfy as home. We were beyond impressed with how much Sherrie embodies what hosting truly means and we will 100% stay here again the next time we’re in Morgantown.

Super cute and clean condo with beautiful views. Host has great recommendations for breakfast and dinner (probably more but that’s all we experienced). Everything was a breeze with check in and check out. Great place.

Beautiful AirBnB, loved the private hot tub and being walking distance/2 min drive from Silvercreek! Kitchen was pretty well stocked and the living area and kitchen table were good for large groups. The closest *large* grocery store is 40 minutes from the top of the mountain so plan accordingly. Would definitely stay again!
