Lake side house rentals in West Lake Hills

This is an adorable lakefront house in a charming neighborhood. We spent most of our Austin trip relaxing together at the house, instead of visiting attractions around town. That's just what the group wanted to do! Sun, water, lake life, turtles and friends. This is a great house for all enjoying all of that.

Exactly what we needed on this staycation! Peaceful and restful, cute little place with a great pool. Host was super responsive and easy to work with! Left lots of recommendations for us.

We enjoyed our stay at Jenelle's place! We brought our dogs and they loved the huge yard and direct access to the lake! We also enjoyed the relaxed environment of being out back. We made s'mores in the firepit and made use of the kayaks they offered! The outdoor space really ticks all the boxes! The inside looks just like the pictures. Beautiful kitchen on the second floor with a good, smaller kitchen on the first floor. Above all, Jenelle was really accommodating to us and made sure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. She also sends a very helpful guidebook ahead of time to help plan your stay, which as someone who loves to plan and stay organized I really appreciated! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Austin!

The place was great, it looked just like the photos and it was so nice and clean! Everything went smoothly upon arrival and it was easy to get to. Candace was so responsive our entire stay, she was a wonderful host and was very attentive. I would definitely stay there again!!

Lovely home and beautifully decorated. We had to stay for a week for my husband’s job and I work from home. It has a cozy office with great internet and a nice patio to hang out in the evening. The home was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Really cool place and great location right across the street from Barton Springs and Zilker park. Walking distance to everything you need/want. Nice, quiet, and right in the middle of everything fun in Austin.

If you’re looking for a place to sit back and relax, this is it. Grab yourself a book and a drink and sit on the patio and enjoy the view. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends! Enjoyed the stay!

Great location near UT campus for graduation event

This is our second time staying at Sarah’s place and we absolutely love it! Great price, 5 minutes from a ton of bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. Lady Bird Lake Trail is just steps away, and the backyard with the pool, big tree, and tanning chairs is a relaxing oasis in the middle of the city! 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Host!! Overly accommodating - we were in town for a wedding - my husband was the Father of the bride! I mentioned not having a full length mirror at the house and she had one there for us the next day "who does that" She was awesome!! The house was quaint and just what we needed- It was a bit of a distance from the wedding venue but I'm also little directionally challenged and we are from Georgia so that was all my fault- Everything about the house checked a box it was the first one we looked at and we booked it! Really enjoyed our stay at Drew's place. The pool and outside area were awesome. The neighborhood was a short walk to south congress but also very quiet and peaceful. Drew was very communciative and flexible. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Austin. Thanks!

Best Airbnb experience we have ever had. Such a charming and pristine space. We literally said “wow” the moment we walked through the door and into each room! I had a great stay at Juno’s. She was very friendly and always responsive. The unit is very private and plenty of room. It was just like the pictures. No complaints at all and would highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay in Austin. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. While there isn’t a kitchen, the mini fridge was appreciated and everything was as listed. Aury was very responsive and a great host. The views from the property are beautiful!

A secluded gem located minutes from downtown. This property was beautiful and stylishly appointed, with excellent amenities and in an incredible location. Best of all, it was private, secluded and provided an excellent place to relax and unwind. The host was responsive and helped us work through any questions or issues we had. Overall, the stay was a great experience and we'd love to visit again.

This Airbnb was amazing — honestly even better than the pictures. We absolutely loved the loft area and the skylight windows, and the AC worked so well (a must in Austin) — kept the whole place super cool and comfortable. The decor was adorable and very thoughtfully done — all Spanish-style with Mexican snacks and accents that made it feel warm and fun. One of our favorite parts was the guide the host sent us — a full PDF with instructions and tons of local recommendations: breakfast spots, lunch/dinner, bars, clubs, museums, parks — they really went above and beyond. The Airbnb itself is set up in their garage space, so you get two layers of security (garage door, then entry into the BnB), and we felt super safe the whole time. We never saw the host, but they made it clear we could reach out or interact if we wanted. Location-wise, it was top tier — right in a cute neighborhood that felt safe and central. We’d absolutely stay here again!
