Vacation rentals with a fireplace in West Hurley

The house is beautiful and the location was lovely, but there were a few things that fell short of the listing description. There was a strong mildew smell in the garage (even after the handyman aired it out), and some basic amenities were missing, like laundry baskets, food storage space, and charging cords for the speakers. There were also only two tall drinking glasses, which was tricky for a group. The outdoor living area shown in the listing wasn’t set up when we arrived, and we would have loved to enjoy it if the cushions were more accessible. That said, the host was very responsive when we reached out with concerns, which we appreciated. With a few tweaks to better prepare the home for guests, this could be a truly wonderful stay.

We had a lovely stay at this remote little cabin home! It feels more like staying at a friend’s house while they are out of town rather than other types of Airbnb rentals. This is someone’s home, with personality, coziness, and a great view! We saw a ton of wildlife, including beavers, deer, and a black bear, so there is plenty of nature small and large.

We had a great weekend stay at Katherine’s. The Esopus Bend Nature Preserve is only a ten minute drive and we really appreciated the local recommendations provided in the binder!

We loved staying at Grandmas place. It’s such a lovely home and the back yard is so beautiful. It’s very close to town and we walked everywhere. The kitchen is fully stocked, there is a fire pit out back, and the beds are comfy. Grandma does live there and stays on the adjoining right side of the house but we still felt it was quite private and fully had the space to ourselves during our stay. We would stay again and Woodstock is filled with fun things to do and great places to eat.

What an excellent stay - this airbnb was incredibly well stocked with kitchen supplies, games, extra linens, really anything that one could want. Amenities were high quality and very thoughtful.

Edward’s place was a special treat. Beautiful wooden lodge house with high ceilings and lots of wooden decor around the house. The house is stuck with all the amenities and two outdoor patios for barbecues and outdoor leisure. There’s also a fire pit and a relaxing area. I’m mostly enjoyed the trail behind the house since I do a lot of hiking. I enjoyed it. I can’t wait to return.

We had a great time at this getaway house. It was perfect for what we needed, which was a place to unwind, relax, and take in the surroundings. The highlight was definitely the sauna and outdoor enclosed patio. Was great to have a nice dinner out there and enjoy our morning coffee. It was also so close to downtown Woodstock but you’d never know it given how serene and peaceful the place was. Jonathan, our main contact was very helpful in organizing a surprise private chef meal during our stay (for my wife’s bday). Loved it and we’d go back again!

We had a lovely stay at Carin’s place for a short getaway to Kingston - we appreciated the local food recommendations and went for some great hikes in the area. While we can understand why people might have an issue with the train, we already have a habit of sleeping with earplugs so didn’t find it an issue (Carin also provides complementary earplugs). Thanks and we would stay again!

Donna's place was immaculate easy to find shes very responsive. For us personally we needed to make adjustments but she is more than willing to work with us. Appreciate the offer to stay. Highly recommend.

Ivy on the Stone is a gem. We will definitely return. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom large and there is even a large screened porch for relaxing on comfy chairs, a sofa as well as a table for eating. Area restaurants are great, walkable to coffee shops and a large bakery in addition to a charming downtown with boutiques etc. Katherine is extremely attentive and we plan to return. MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Beautiful place to stay in Rhinebeck Village! Walkable to shops and restaurants. Located in a very pretty neighborhood, and being close to a beautiful creek, is a wonderful setting! Very clean inside and nicely decorated. There is no basic cable TV so be sure to bring your Roku stick or anything else you need, assuming you want access TV during your stay.

My wife, dog, and I had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Michael's place. The land is beautiful, the place itself is actually even nicer than the pictures, and there is plenty to do in the area. We will definitely be coming back!

This was a lovely getaway, went up for Memorial Day Weekend and getting some nature in at Minnewaska state park, it was rainy this weekend so we ended up having more time at the house then planned but we were so cozy it was a delight, we had some empty tanks for the grill when we arrived but the hosts offered to reimburse us for the refuel which was very kind, also had a friend who left their jacket and keys and Kyle and Jasmine have been wonderful in helping them get it back! A great cozy stay, the ride up was scenic

The AK Lodge was perfect for our multi family, with plenty of room for everyone to hang out. Having private bathrooms in each bedroom was great. Justyna was very responsive and always answered any questions within minutes. We will defiantly be back.

My daughters and I really enjoyed our stay at Jacks place. The house is beautiful, and the surrounding private property is stunning. Nicole was very helpful whenever I had any questions.

Beautiful home, great location and friendly host. Bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything needed, games room was an added bonus.

Everything was absolutely amazing. We felt at home the entire stay and had everything we needed. Carl was really easy to work with. I mistakenly booked the trip a day shorter than needed. At the last minute I realized my mistake and Carl was quick to respond that adding an extra day was no problem. The system had a problem though allowing me to book an overnight stay on the same day I “checked out,” but Carl worked back and forth with me and with AirBnb help until I was finally able to book that extra night. Carl remained professional, calm, and polite, even though I know that was probably stressful and a pain to deal with. The problem was 100% on me, but he helped to fix it with such grace. I really appreciate the professionalism. I highly recommend both Carl and this specific rental. Thank you!

Beautiful surroundings and a very spacious home for large groups. We had 8 people staying overnight and had plenty of room. Kitchen was well stocked and clean up was easy. Thanks for a great stay!
