A highlight is the collection of birdlife watercolour paintings by the acclaimed Australian artist, Robert Ulmann. The stunning sandstone structure proudly preserves the craftsmanship of the convicts who built it, while the interior has been tastefully updated with a touch of nostalgic charm. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and bigger groups.

"The Cave" is a stylish and unique self-contained apartment under my centrally located 1885 West Hobart home. It is a 15 minute walk to the city centre and a short walk to the Elizabeth Street North Hobart cafe strip. With the stairs to the entry and the bed in a raised platform "nook", "The Cave" may not be for everyone, but if you're looking for well located lodgings that ooze atmosphere I think you'll love it!
