Absolutely awesome stay in an old house From the doorstep to the courtyard, the reception hall to the room, each is a thoughtful detail from the owner, and coming to the old house feels like traveling through time and space! The room was incredibly spacious and you immediately feel at home in the bed and breakfast. They are very strict about noise which is great so everyone can rest and the cats are very relaxed too. They made a vegetarian breakfast for me both days which was healthy, fresh, and delicious. The place is walking distance to many things as well.

A modern bathroom features a glass-enclosed shower and a sleek vanity with storage. Neutral-toned tiles create a clean look, while potted plants add a touch of greenery. Natural light filters in through a small window, enhancing the overall ambiance.

Great place to base yourself in, if you are hiking or looking to visit Alishan, Fenqihu etc. I paid extra for steamboat dinner and it is great. Do check if you are there in season for sea of clouds, fireflies etc. I felt very welcomed and the friendly local tourists who were staying there made me feel very much at home as well. Such a blessing to be there. Thank you to the host for showing me what tea plucking is like. I have a better appreciation for the tea I drink! It will be better if you drive, as the slope going up to the BnB is steep. If you don’t and do not have heavy/bulky luggage it should be manageable as well. I love the huge windows at the dinning room overlooking the garden with mountains in the backdrop.
