A tiny house with the comforts of home. Single Bedroom stair free in-law suite with amazing sunsets and the feeling of being in the middle of the woods while still being close enough to enjoy a reasonable drive to some of the Finger Lakes best hiking trails, food, wineries and other destination locations. If you come in the winter you will want an all wheel drive vehicle if there is snow on the roads, but half a mile down the hill and you are on the state highway to the finger lakes region.

Location was perfect, was able to access all the hiking, lakes, center of town, and farms within 20 min from this stay. Had a great time had everything we needed.

The laundry area features side-by-side washer and dryer units, set against a white wall with a small shelf containing laundry supplies. A simple doormat is positioned in front of the entrance door, which leads to the outside. Natural light illuminates the space.

To be honest, I would love to have a little studio exactly like that to live in... I'm retired and that would be perfect for me and my 12 lb havanese... It was a little out of the way, but I'd highly recommend to anyone...

This is a neato cabin... Glamping at its finest! It's back in the woods on a dirt road which is a truely "back woods" experience. This place is definitely for those types who don't mind walking and playing in the dirt and mud as it can be rather soggy and mushy after rain. I really enjoyed the Sunrise, the Porch, Firepit and paddleboat! The shower and outhouse are VERY rustic so be prepared for that. The Loft bed requires climbing up a narrow ladder which requires some agility and balance. I came to Ithaca to hike the Waterfalls so this place is very convenient. The owner is very knowledgeable regarding the hiking areas. Overall the reflective nature of the Pond Cabin experience was super great fun and extremely worthwhile.

We had a peaceful, quiet stay and very much enjoyed sitting on the deck with our morning tea listening to the birds. We saw or heard an amazing number of bird species and very much enjoyed the beautiful view of meadows and hills. Everything was very clean and the kitchen has pretty much everything one could imagine needing for meal preparation.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Melanie's place. The apartment was clean, neat, modern, and so nicely decorated. Her home is in a quiet, private, wooded setting that's a short drive from Ithaca - what a great location! Melanie was friendly and messaged us several times during our stay to make sure it was going well. As others have mentioned, we really appreciated the snacks (granola bars, yogurt, instant oatmeal) and fruit that Melanie left for us. Highly recommend this airbnb if you are looking for a fully-equipped, clean and private 1-bedroom apartment near Ithaca! Check out the cool covered bridge in Newfield, only 10 minutes away. We also had a very good breakfast at the Sunset Grill just down the road from Melanie's airbnb - prices were reasonable.

The only thing I wish we had was more time to enjoy the views and area! Highly recommend booking with Jason if you’re looking for peace and tranquility!
