Pet-friendly vacation rentals in West Coast Peninsula

This was our second time staying here as it is pet friendly, off road safe parking, wonderful sea view, central and easy walk to beach. It has a lovely deck outside and a nice enclosed garden for the dog. It has all the amenities you need.

We had a wonderful family getaway at Liaan’s beautiful home in Langebaan. The house was spotless, stylishly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to the beach and peaceful enough for a relaxing break. Liaan was a fantastic host, very responsive and welcoming. We’d definitely love to come back!

Well sized house, private and on the beach. Very nice braai area and house and room layout worked well for 6 guests. We had a great time and will be back.

A group of us (5 people) were using the house for several days as part of a wedding party and it worked really well. A real home from home, and a wonderfully peaceful place to retreat. The loft is delightful with a wonderful bath-tub - but just be aware: the steps up are a bit steep and because the staircase is open sound moves from the sitting area to the loft and vice versa. Paul was an excellent host and really went the extra mile. I would definitely recommend his place.

We had a lovely stay. It is very close to the beach, I loved the view from upstairs.

The house was perfect for our family which included 2 adults, 2 toddlers, and 3 grandparents. Everything in the house you can need as if you were in your own place. Short walking distance to great beach for kids to play on. Great braai and kuier area. Yzerfontein the town and area is a gem on the West coast and worth a visit.

We were 13 people and we had an absolutely amazing stay. The house had everything we needed the Gretchen who assisted us as host was amazing - very responsive and really nice and friendly. The house was exactly as described and the views are spectacular! We loved it and would definitely visit again!!

We had the most amazing stay at Thyme and Tide. The house was perfect for my team’s strategic planning session - lots of space to work, enough bedrooms for each of us to have some privacy and areas to chill and have meals together. The location could not have been better - we could see dolphins play in the waves from the porch! Having Tinashe around to assist with wood and coffee pods was great! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wow what a stunning house in the perfect location for a relaxing weekend away from it all. Just 2 hours drive from Cape Town, Aurora is a tiny town literally in the middle of nowhere. There is a small shop and a coffee shop and that's all. You need to come with all your supplies as we were told on booking. Rojeane's house is a home from home, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The house is beautifully furnished and designed and perfectly positioned for the stunning sunset views. We had plans to hike and take a trip to the coast and we were so instantly relaxed that we did nothing. We read books and played with board games from the cupboard and then had delicious long braais into the night. The homemade feta and sourdough bread were so delicious we were begging for more! We were travelling with our teenage children and 2 small dogs and we all wished to stay another night longer when we left. It was a great family weekend away from the city.

This place is a dream! Your own private beach with all the modern furnishings you might need. Luxury kitchen equipment, beautiful decks and balcony, plenty of outdoor furniture and activities. We went to Paternoster for meals, but you will need to book in advance as restaurants fill quickly. An amazing getaway, we would go back in a heartbeat!

The villa is absolutely superb. It's located in prime position right by the water in serene and beautiful Jacob's Bay and has the most incredible patio to enjoy the view and beauty of South Africa's West Coast. The house, and particularly the patio, is extremely well designed and maximizes the enjoyment of the property. The house is easily one of the nicest in the entire estate. The decor and style is perfect and captures the West Coast vibe. The view and particularly the sunsets and starlight made it difficult to believe that I was only 1.5 hours away from Cape Town. The villa is well fitted with indoor and outdoor braais/barbecue, extremely comfortable patio furniture, a covered swimming pool and the garden is lovely. This is truly a special place and my entire family loved it. It's going to be difficult to find a better place to stay than this on South Africa's West Coast. I couldn't recommend this more highly and Michelle is an incredible host. Perfect 5 star rating from me.

We had an amazing stay, Trudi is such a wonderful host and person. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. She has a lovely warm nature, we also met her husband. Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely perfect! The property was exceptionally clean, and every detail seemed thoughtfully designed to enhance the experience. The scenery was breathtaking. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful welcome gifts, including the chocolates on the beds. They even went above and beyond by leaving a special birthday gift for my mom, which was such a kind and personal touch. The house itself is wonderfully situated—sheltered perfectly so that sitting outside was comfortable and undisturbed by the wind. This made it a perfect spot for enjoying the views and soaking up the peaceful atmosphere while the children played on the beach. Lu-Ann and Ian were fantastic hosts! They were incredibly friendly, easy to contact, and maintained excellent communication throughout our stay. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made us feel at home. We will surely visit this place again.

We had a lovely stay in this well equipped villa that has everything you need for a great vacation. The inside as well as the outside of the house is designed with care to details and the view over Shark Bay is wonderful. Adrian is a kind host that answers quickly to your questions and Wilma who met us was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back next year.

Excellent weekend breakaway with the family. Friendly host and caretaker ensuring a wonderful stay. Sleeping units clean and comfortable, kitchen well equipped with all the required essentials. Beautiful sunsets can definitely recommend as a a wonderful glamping experience.

We had a phenomenal stay at Lily's Airbnb, and loved the weekend there. Superb location and the house had everything we needed. Highly recommended for a few days or even longer. All restaurants are super walkable, and we felt extremely safe.

We really loved this place. Right at the beachfront and a great house. It has everything you can dream off.
