House vacation rentals in Wellsboro

We had a great stay in this home. It was exactly as described and everything was in clean and working order for our stay. The house had more amenities than I thought and it was really well thought out for people to stay and vacation. I loved being able to bring our dog. We were very happy with everything and hope to return. The one bedroom did have a bed that wasn’t too comfortable -really only a kid could sleep on it but since we were only a family of 4 that did not affect us, but FYI for larger groups.

SURREAL LOCATION!!! A PRIVATE MOUNTAINTOP!!! Sunrise Ridge Wellsboro is situated at the PEAK of Shumway Hill, surrounded by acres of soft grass, and further out - fortresses of corn fields and woods - crowned with God's beauty with every sunrise and sunset!!! The home itself is beautiful, well renovated, and spacious. The bathrooms feature warm luxury vinyl tile expertly installed - and ceramic tile showers with excellent water flow and hot water. The bedrooms Have a very high end and soft carpet in great condition, a very luxurious feel to the entire home. It looks more like a double wide modular - but it feels like the remodel designer paid very close attention to detail during the recent renovation process. We experienced high winds and cloudy spring days during our brief day during the Potter Tioga Maple fest 2025, but each day - there was so much to do around the home and beyond! We enjoyed kites, outdoor play, the hot tub, Wellsboro, Patterson Farms Maple tour, and more!

my family & i celebrated new year’s eve here and we had a lovely stay! the home is peaceful & beautiful while still being close to downtown wellsboro. the inside is spacious and comfy - we especially loved the large kitchen table, plethora of seating options in the living room, & comfy beds. the hot tub was AMAZING! best feature for sure. appreciated the fast & clear communication with the host. the only negatives would be dim lighting in 2 bedrooms & living room, no toiletries, & potential of needing 4WD to access the home if snowing heavily. i would stay here again and would recommend to others looking for a relaxing cabin trip.

Wonderful Hostess and the home was super cozy and cute! Incredible space ! Definitely larger than it looks on the outside!

We were pleasantly surprised with how roomy, cozy and clean the space was. The views are amazing and you are at the end of your own drive so it gives a very secluded feel. There were deer that would hunker down in the woods right outside the front door every night and feed in the early mornings. We spent most of our time in the cabin and never managed to get bored. We loved our time here and would rent again in the future!!

The home itself is beautiful, surrounding truly stunning. Arrival was seamless. Place was spotless, quiet, and very private. This upscale retreat was definitely worth the drive! Just pack your clothes and snacks, everything else is already there! Kitchen went above and beyond our expectations! As a tour operator, I’ve seen many homes but this one is easily my favorite! Dyllan was very quick to respond to all communications! Nearby fishing ( trout is plentiful) guides and water activities. We hope it stays off the radar for a bit! We want it for ourselves!!

Great house with plenty of room for everyone to spread out or gather together. The light that shines through from the huge private back windows is absolutely stunning. The view from the windows, of the trees and the peaceful creek is calming. We will definitely come back next time we visit Williamsport.

Dyllan is an absolutely amazing host. His house is stunning. Everything is labeled by drawer and he has clearly considered every single little detail. The views are stunning. The hot tub and fire pit are the perfect place to relax at night. We will definitely be back. He also replies to AirBnB messages within .2 seconds which is awesome.

The pictures do not do this property justice. Beautiful house, property and furnishings. This is an ideal location for anyone who loves nature and wants to get away from it all. The house is huge, full kitchen plenty of amenities, numerous rooms, very comfortable and spotless. The cherry on top was the host! David is extremely gracious and very accommodating. We are looking forward to returning to enjoy this property more!

I loved staying here! Very peaceful, very clean and it was really fun to have access to the pool! Jeff was proactive and communicated very quickly with any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again!

Melissa's house was very convenient to Penn College of technology as it is just a few blocks across the bridge. Great location. Beautiful views as it backs up to the river. Plenty of parking in the driveway. It was very easy to get into the house and Melissa provided us with lots of instructions. She was very friendly and very easy to communicate with. Melissa is a great host and I recommend Melissa's house to anyone looking to stay in the Williamsport area.

So great!! We loved staying at Nathan's place! The surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful. It was nice to look out the windows and see the beautful fall colors and the wildlife that came to visit (we saw deer and squirrels). Our kids loved playing on the trampoline and jumping in the leaves and I loved sitting on the back deck, reading my book and watching the trees sway in the wind. The house felt private and secluded, but it was close to towns and it was easy to get to. You can tell the house is old, but Nathan has done a great job renovating it. It was stocked with everything we needed, and we had plenty to do. The bedrooms were nice with soft beds and sheets. Nathan was great to work with. We even ended up staying 1 less night than we intended and he gave us a refund for that night, no questions asked. Plus, his guidebook is amazing! Overall, we would defintely recommend Serenity Woods Sanctuary. If we're ever in that neck of the woods again, we know where we'll be staying.

Perfect location! Quick bike ride via the trail to little league World Series stadium and restaurants and shops. It was nice to park and leave the car at the rental and avoid the traffic in town. Very clean, everything as described. Very responsive and accommodating host. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second stay at this house, and once again it was a great stay at a great property. Since our prior stay a year ago, they have added both a foosball table and an outdoor hot tub, and our group really appreciated both of these. It shows the owners are investing in upkeep. We also appreciated the baseball field just up the hill. The location right next to Elk Creek is wonderful, with a fire pit area close to the creek. This is a big beautiful older house with modern bedding, fireplace, oven, couch/recliners, etc.

Great host! lots of extra because of the country feel. coffee, tea complementary. condiments nice touch. Hot tub although a little aged was very nice. the porch was very nice to be able to relax if it rained, nice morning coffee. outdoor grill was nice. I would like to return during summer months to enjoy the pool as well. Cherry Springs was fabulous, Wellsboro was also a nice cute town. PA Grand canyon has amazing views and wildlife.

Gwen and Paul have the most amazing air bnb in an absolutly amazing private location and they go above and beyond to make sure that you have everything you need and that you feel right at home. I would highly recomend to anyone looking to stay in the area, or looking for a weekend get away.

We had a near perfect weekend away at Carolyn’s place. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful. Carolyn was very responsive when we had a minor issue and tried hard to make our stay enjoyable. We were able to relax and would definitely book again. We can’t wait to return!

Cute house in an old, classy neighborhood. Definitely worth the price and close to everything. Would stay here again!

We were in the area for a Search and Rescue K9 training and needed some place that would accept dogs. We found this listing and we knew this was the place for us. With 130 acres our pups were able to take some great walks and play together after a day of learning. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your family home. Property was great! The deer and Turkey made daily visits to the backyard. Weather wasn’t great so the indoor stuff was super… go birds!

We enjoyed our stay so much it felt like our second home. While in town for a class at Corning Studio, this was the perfect place to rest and relax for each day. The layout, amenities, cleanliness, details, and the neighborhood made this stay wonderful and a place we would stay again in the future. (Did not get a chance to enjoy a bath in that tub)

The loaction is right on the trail and has a large space outdoor for kids to play. Very safe location good visibility that we were comfortable letting the kids ride the trial and side road. The host was very quick to address a request during the stay.

My husband and I had 4 wonderful days at Chris's beautiful new cabin (so much more than a cabin!) right along Pine Creek. The house is so clean, comfortable, and light-filled, and Chris has furnished it with quality and care. Loved all the throw blankets on the sofas and chairs..so comfy in the evenings! We sat on the deck or down by the creek and watched bald eagles fly by every day. It was super easy to get onto the trail to ride or walk. It's just across the road, and there is an opening in the split-rail fence at the spring. We really lucked out on the weather, and there were still a lot of colorful leaves on the trees this late in October! Pine Creek is a favorite spot for us, and Chris's cabin will surely be our new 'home' when we visit! Thank you for being a great host, Chris!
