Cabin vacation rentals in Wellesley Island

We traveled all the way from Oklahoma, towing a boat to spend 6 nights at Becky’s and discover the area. We enjoyed our time there a lot! The house was very clean, super comfortable and spacious. The outdoor setting and games were perfect for our 2 teenagers and our lab. The area has a lot to offer! Becky was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend it!!!

My partner and I had a fantastic weekend getaway to Place for my birthday! Silver and Will have done an incredible job. It is beautifully designed and so functional! It has everything you could need and the layout is excellent! We enjoyed the screened in porch when the mosquitos were out and when it was raining. The fire pit was wonderful for an afternoon and evening hangout. Relaxing in the hottub was a treat! We had an awesome time canoeing on the quiet lake, which is huge and easy to access. The decor and design is modern and gorgeous. It is exactly as pictured. It is private and cosy. Silver and Will were responsive and were wonderful hosts! We can’t wait to be back again!

Wonderful place to spend some relaxed days in the beautiful Canadian nature. The cottage was fully equipped, neat, cozy and lovingly decorated. Exactly as shown on the pictures. Nothing was missed. Charlotte and Cindy replied within shortest time and provided all relevant information well in advance. We enjoyed the stay from the first minute and couldn't imagine a better place for our vacation. Hope to come back!

Wonderful, cozy cabin! Great host! Easy check in and checkout process. Nice, private property in the middle of nature. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Very relaxing and enjoyable 2 night stay. Everything we wanted and more! The hot tub was a great feature. Plenty to do at this property. We will be looking to stay again!

I can’t say enough about Virginia and her amazing retreat. We were looking for a simple halfway stop on our way home from seeing family in the US and found this amazing space run by wonderful people. It was a treasure and we will be back. This beautiful family is forging a new way of living and travel that is sustainable and gives me hope. She is a great host if you have children and are interested in forest school and learning about local history and geography. My son was free to run and hear nothing but nature sounds and then we took the ferry everyday into Kingston to explore Canadian history and culture and eat amazing food. We went to the Wolfe Island hotel to eat local wonderful food and visited the stunning isolated beach every night at sunset. Wolfe Island is a place like no other. I had such a great connection with the host and her commitment to the earth and the future. Thank you Virginia!

Perfect little getaway that my husband and I needed. Not too far from needing to go to town but in the woods enough that it was peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoors, fire by the river, and enjoying the sounds of nature. The screen door for the sliding door was one ofmy favorite things. During the day we used it to listento the rain, birds, and for the nice breeze. It was great to have that scenery while having a cup of coffee and read a book in the morning. Their DVD collection was awesome, nice variety with some great classics. My husband enjoyed a morning run through the area and told me it was the best place he has ran so far. I definitely wasn't expecting there to be any kind of food/seasonings and they had extra things in the cabin which was awesome since I forgot the sugar for my coffee lol. Overall we loved it and plan to do another getaway with them before we move.

Second time staying here and I loved it just as much as the first time…the lake and location is incredibly peaceful…had a wonderful stay….i adore the cabin ❤️

The place was really nice and with a great view. We enjoyed kayaking and bonfires. Amber was amazing with all the instructions and quick responses.

Diego was super responsive at all times with clear instructions on how everything worked. He was also very considerate, knowing it was our anniversary, and offered to meet us there or not in case we wanted privacy. Very accommodating, and since there wasn't anyone there the day before, was okay with us checking in an hour early! The nature around us was great if you like to see animals. The same can be said for spiders though. Probably not the best location if you're severely arachnophobic, though the cabin did come stocked with means to dispose of spiders. The cabin was decent, but Diego as the host is what sets this one apart. Will recommend!

Great place lots of room for big families to enjoy

Don's quaint, rustic cottage in a very private setting was just what we were looking for. It's perfect for a couple. For late October, the colours were still glorious, and the space was cozy. Don was very kind, and he even left a card and some treats in the fridge for us in honour of our anniversary. If you're looking to disconnect and find some tranquility, this is the place!

It was incredible to find a place with such serene woods and its own sandy beach and kayaks for use! The pond was scenic and relaxing to paddle around in. My dog enjoyed sniffing through the woods and hiking thru the nearby Forest Preserve. Out hosts certainly had that warm North Country hospitality. I always appreciate when a host trusts a guest to bring their pup, and is happy to mail you your hat when you leave it behind! Additionally, everything about checking out was written up and clear - happy to save some $ on cleaning costs by tossing our used things in the wash ourselves. It honestly added to that ‘home away from home’ feeling.

We had an awesome stay at Dawn's cabin! The place is really quiet and private. Even if the place doesn't have electricity and water everything you need is there such as water bottles, snacks, kitchen supplies, BBQ with gaz, wood, pans, candles and chargeable lights, blankets etc. Also we were there to celebrate my birthday and Dawn was really thoughtful by placing some cupcakes for our arrival. Self check-in was also really smooth and well indicated. I totally recommend you to book there. It was such a good weekend to reload our batteries away from the city. Thank you!

Great place to stay, the cabin is cozy and clean, we can still smell the pine wood that is the building material of the cabin. We came on the thanksgiving long weekend, this year it was very cold, fortunately we brought our winter jackets and sleeping bags. The host is very nice, you can ask for more comforts if you don’t have your own, otherwise it is too cold to sleep. We didn’t bring drinking water, but a general store is 3 minutes driving away. The fall scene was spectacular, the lake is peaceful, the host and her son were friendly and responsive. We may come again in summer when it is warmer.

We had such a wonderful time at this cottage. It's cozy and very comfortable. Beds are great. The kitchen is super well equipped. The deck is a peaceful place where you can enjoy nature. The restaurant in town is very good. Anne-Marie was very nice and lovely. We will be back for sure!

Really enjoy this place, have been here a couple times and will definitely come back. 400 yards to bar/restaraunt (Great food), convenient store 1/4 mile away. Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and unwind.

Great setup for four guys on an atving trip. We did a lot of riding so we didn’t spend a ton of time at the property but everything was as advertised. Beds were comfy. Bill was very helpful and responsive regarding some logistical questions I had. A couple of us were repeat guests of Bill’s and we will definitely be back. It’s a very good location if you’re planning to snowmobile or atv and even if you’re not you can easily just relax around the property.

My husband and I had the most amazing week at the cabin! We were blessed with 7 days of sun and no rain. Of course, this meant no running water, but we didn’t mind since we just used lake water! Our husky, Willow, explored all 65 acres and then some on our morning “backyard” hikes. We spent our days lounging on the dock and jumping in the lake to cool off, or swinging into the lake on the Tarzan swing! As stunning as the views from the lake were, views from the cabin were spectacular. I think my favourite spot was the screened in porch with panoramic views of the forest! This is where we decided to sleep every night, too! The cabin definitely exceeded our expectations and we will be back!

The cottage was perfect! We were a group of 6 women in our 30s and there was plenty of room for everybody. The cottage itself is large but so very cozy and the beds/couches were very comfy! The water access, sauna and property were all beautiful spaces and very well cared for. 10/10 would stay again. Thank you, Michael!
