Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Weiss Lake

We stayed at Walcox Point to celebrate our grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The home is beautiful-spacious, spotless, and located in a quiet, peaceful are right on Lake Weiss with very few neighbors. It comfortably fit our whole family for the week and the large yard was great for gatherings and family photos. The dock was a favorite spot for all of us-we had space for our fishing boat and jetski, and everyone hung out there every day. We brought items like lake chairs and s’mores sticks, but Thomas had already stocked the house with those, plus firewood, and plenty of lake towels. Each bathroom was stocked with the essentials like shampoo, conditioner, and soap and bath towels and washcloths. He truly thought of everything. Thomas was an incredible fantastic host-friendly, responsive, and helpful with every question we had. We truly had the best time and are already planning to rent this home again next year! Highly recommend!

Our stay here was everything we hoped for and more. The house was spotless, comfortable, and private. Even though it was on a street in a residential neighborhood, this home is far enough down the driveway and surrounded by woods, so it felt like we were in our own little paradise. Best of all, access to local hiking trails and parks was just minutes away. If we ever make our way back to Fort Payne, we will certainly try to stay here again. It was an amazing weekend!

Cindy’s Airbnb was an absolute gem! Her home is not only beautiful but also so cozy, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The porch was definitely one of the highlights – we loved spending time there, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoying the fresh air. Cindy was such a wonderful host, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This home was absolutely beautiful! I wish we could have stayed more than 2 days. We have been traveling for the past 6 years for dance competition and this if our favorite place we have stayed so far. Our girls were raving about how beautiful and comfortable it was to get ready here. The home is absolutely beautiful and clean. We will definitely look to stay here again if we have a competition in town in the future.

such a beautiful home with amazing views! i booked this airbnb very last minute due to wanting to take my daughter to the aquarium but not stay in a hotel. even with the rain & clouds, the view was amazing with watching the rain start far away then come towards us. the first bedroom to the right upstairs has the best view, sheets/beds are super comfortable as well!!

This place was a dream come true for my 9 and 13 year old nieces! They were thrilled to spend time looking through each detail in the house! The house was comfortable and provided all the needed amenities to enjoy a relaxing time. It was easy to find, and Jeff was so nice and accommodating. The attention to detail is top notch in this space - sure to bring smiles and lasting memories for any fan of this genre! We appreciated how clean the house was, and the sheets and towels were quality and comfortable. Highly recommend for a unique stay!

I felt like I was in the treetops. It was so serene, and would recommend to anyone, especially with fur babies. The host were absolutely fun and pleasure to communicate with very accommodating. It was such a relaxing day it was like a day in the spa left rejuvenated and peaceful

Robbie was an excellent host! he even helped with changing out my headlight in my car, which means a lot because i got a ticket for it being out. the place was very comfortable, peaceful as well, had everything my children and i needed for our stay. we really enjoyed our stay, also check in is very flexible, Robbie accepted our short notice request stay with no problems and it was around 11pm when we arrived from traveling all day. i would definitely stay again if we pass by the area again.

Everything you would want at a home and more! Maryland took in mind every detail while creating the perfect hosting spot. We needed nothing, everything needed was in the home! By far the best home we've stayed in and host! Super friendly and her place was super clean and quiet. Definitely a place worth booking of you're looking to get away and experience relaxation and all the amenities this place has to offer.

Beautiful location that felt remote but was very convenient , we saw deer, bunnies, had a light show from the fireflies at night, and warm greetings daily from Ginger the dog, wonderful place to visit!

Shane’s place was beautiful! We have a large family and booked three places and it was absolutely perfect for our family! The kids scootered around the driveway, people easily went back and forth between the homes, the dogs had a blast running around and we enjoyed walking the beautiful property along the creek! We couldn’t have asked for a better location for our family reunion, and we will definitely be back!

I would recommend yhis place to anyone it was a besutiful well kept home that had everything we needed. It really exceeded our expections we will use this place again in the future.

Nick was welcoming and helpful and the pool-side guest house was comfortable and had everything we needed. If we end up racing the Cheaha again we'd happily stay @ Nick's!
