Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. A real shepherd's wagon awaits you, which offers much more than it did to the shepherd back then. You sleep in a cozy bed, can turn on the stove, enjoy your food and drink at the table and look into the forest. You can shower in a red wine barrel and at night you don't have to go out if you need to. Electricity and water are of course available. When it's warm, it's also worth visiting the swimming pool.

Furnished with a mixture of old and new, Art and kitsch also invite the apartment to a cozy evening at home. In good weather you can sit in our green courtyard.

Open the door and be right in the forest? Relax on the high balcony surrounded by treetops? Whether from the kitchen directly to the balcony or from the basement to the terrace: In between, the treetops always reveal the view of the Rhine valley. Fresh forest air is just a step away. Beautiful hiking or cycling trails to numerous excursion destinations start directly on the property, in the forest or the neighboring wine-growing communities.

Directly behind the house, the vines begin, an ideal starting point for many hikes. Our former stonemason farm, which is over 280 years old, offers plenty of surprises. On the way to your accommodation, you will cross a vineyard-covered courtyard. You will stay in our quiet guest apartment. From the bedroom you can look at the famous Wachtenburg. For wine lovers, Wachenheim is a must. The property is particularly suitable for short and active vacations. Bikes are welcome to bring along and safely stored in our yard.

The beautiful wine village of Bissersheim has very special charm & in just 4 km march through the magnificent vineyards welcomes you, that beautiful and historic wine village of Freinsheim. Ideally located for excursions to the wine route or the Palatinate Forest.

Time out in the "Alte Post" OG

The apartment "Alte Post" takes its name from the original use of the premises. Around 1960, this historic building was used as a local post office and "Tante Emma" store. Now walls were pulled in, breakthroughs were created and stairs were demolished to create an ultimate living space. After an extensive and time-consuming renovation with my personal touch, I am now happy to welcome guests to one of the two apartments.

Enjoy the tranquility of the place, which invites you to hike or linger in nature, or relax on a city trip to learn more about the history of the North Palatinate.
