A relaxing ranch stay by Capitol Reef

PamelaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Elk Valley Paradise, The ranch at Elk Valley was gorgeous - both the house itself and the setting. It was so private and quiet, with just the marmots, bunnies, deer and cows as neighbors. The house was perfect for two couples and had everything we needed for preparing meals. The location just 20 minutes from Capitol Reef National Park (our fourth visit to our favorite park) was great for exploring the park and places to the east and west (Petrified Forest at Escalante and Little Wild Horse Canyon and Goblin State Park to the east). There are awesome hikes in the park and great restaurants for us Vegans, as well as our friends who are not. Tim was a gracious host. We would definitely stay at the ranch again!

Comfort and beauty: 2 BR near Capitol Reef

JanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved our time in Capitol Reef. This is seriously the best location for having access to the park. Beautiful location and so many wild animals to watch through our windows. The tub was a favorite for the grandkids. We didn’t know it had a roof patio until the last day! Amazing to watch the sunrise

Caineville Wash House

LilyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The location is great for Capitol Reef NP! It’s only 30 minutes to the visitor center. The cathedral trail is next to the main road. Quiet place great for stargazing in the yard! It can get quite warm in the late afternoon sun. (There’s AC to keep it cooler.) lots of birds chirping. We also saw a chipmunk and a big cottontail. The kitchen is well equipped but bring your own groceries with you.

Danielle's place was the perfect spot for our trip to visit Capitol Reef- she has lots of good information of the surrounding area. Also, the spot was great for walking distance to several different great restaurants!

#6 Home in the Heart of Utah

AmyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed our stay. The outside of the building was a little run-down (peeling paint, etc), but there were many thoughtful touches inside. Each room had a sound machine for sleep, there were puzzles and games on the shelf, and the kitchen had everything needed to cook (including sharp knives!) which is better than a number of airbnbs we have been at. Our son loved the game room in the garage and the dogs and chickens running around in the backyard. I am allergic to most laundry detergents, so I was happy to find the sheets didn't bother me and must have been washed in something hypoallergenic (it was nice not to have to pull out the emergency sheet pack from our car for once). It was only about 74 degree days when we were there, but it was still pretty hot up in the 2nd floor apartment. Opening windows and running the ceiling fans worked fine for us, but I imagine it might get quite hot in the heat of summer.

Simple Adventures 1

What a gem! It’s such a great price for what you’re getting. It’s always quiet and the grocery store is walking distance. Easy drive to Fish Lake and Capitol Reef. Photos show exactly what you will be getting, everything is clean, checking in and out is flexible, host is responsible. Genuinely could not ask for more in an Airbnb. Will absolutely be returning if I’m in the area again.

We really appreciated this host. Would recommend to others. A great place for our one night stay. Fully stocked the kitchen. Everything was perfect. We want to come back and stay here for a few days again. Our host was very responsive and helped us with a pack and play for a baby. We had such a nice trip.

#3 Studio Home in the Heart of Utah

VanessaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We only stayed 1 night on our way through to Bryce Canyon. The place was clean and comfortable, very spacious. The washer and dryer were appreciated! There is not much at all in Torrey so be sure to bring food if you plan to cook. We walked across the street to the taco truck and it was just ok...Not wonderful, but that's not what the review is about LOL. The ice cream next door was amazing though! This unit is in a multiplex with a few other units. It was quiet though. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

Capitol Reef Country 5 Bed 3 Bath Cabin Home

AndreaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I thought this was just a small cabin, but oh boy looks can be deceiving. I couldn’t have been more wrong!! This house is spacious and well thought out. It was perfect for 4 adults to sprawl out in the living room, to watch football on a Sunday, after a long day of hiking. Sightseeing and restaurants are super close by and the house was an incredibly easy check in. I would stay here again and absolutely recommend to others

Secluded Desert Cabin Minutes to Capitol Reef

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The house is really nice and in a lovely secluded area with great daytime views and nighttime for stargazing. It's only about 20 minutes to the Visitors Center and a little less to lots of dining options. There are great hikes just across Hwy 12 like the Great Western Trail and others off the same trailhead. The kitchen is very well stocked and there is plenty of room for dining and lounging. We want to visit the area again and would not hesitate to book this place again. Thanks, John

Teasdale Plateau Capitol Reef

RobertRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I am not sure where to start. The views were simply breath taking and the home was amazing. From the wonderful master suite to the chef’s kitchen this place had everything. We were traveling as a family through the area. I chose this place as a surprise for my parents who are in their 70s. When I brought my parents upstairs to the master suite and showed them their view it brought my mom to tears. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you want a completely private place to relax and enjoy, then look no further. It simply has everything you could ever want. We even chose to come back early from Capital Reef just to spend more time on the property together and enjoy everything it had to offer.
