Vacation rentals in Wayne County

This was our favorite place that we have stayed as a family! The outdoor space was spectacular, so peaceful and beautiful. We ate outdoors for every meal. Remote enough to have a dark sky experience with the night stars. Extra amenities were a plus; great set up for a family of 4 or 2 couples. Within 20-25 min from Capitol Reef- which is perfect distance to enjoy the park during your stay. Truly a remarkable experience!

Staying at April's airbnb was so easy, relaxing and comfortable. The location is less than 10 minutes from the sweet town of Torrey - where you can find the Chuck Wagon store, which has everything you may need (even Epsom Salts after a long day hiking,) Only a 20 minute drive to the Capital Reef Visitor's Center. We LOVED staying for three nights - we were able to do many hikes in the NP. Great suggestions on restaurants - YUM on Capital Burger Food Truck, Broken Spur for a nice sit down restaurant, coffee at Wild Rabbit Cafe. We enjoyed an early (4PM) dinner at Hell's Backbone Grill after doing the "Loop the Fold" drive (Burr Trail etc)- beautiful hikes on trails we had all to ourselves. April's place has ample supplies which made us feel at home. I followed her directions on operating the sliding door key which then was a breeze. We would love to come back when we visit Capital Reef again!

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. This home is cozy, thoughtfully equipped, and a wonderfully easy house to stay in. Plus, Capital Reef National Park is down the road!

Fabulous! Dark Sky House is everything we saw in the AirBnB photos, and more. This beautiful, comfortable, and fully stocked home exceeded our expectations. From the welcome book to the telescopes, to the Adirondack chairs on every side of the house for stargazing, we had everything we needed during our stay. The large windows provided amazing views of the dramatic surrounding landscape, the modern interior features added to the comfort of the home, as did many thoughtful extras Jenny and Steve thought to include. Located near the intersection of Routes 24 and 12, the location was perfect for exploring Scenic Route 12 and nearby parks during the day and the really, really dark skies at night. Jenny and Steve were a pleasure to work with, from the reservation process all the way through checkout, always quick to respond to any questions we had. Have already recommended Dark Sky House to friends who are planning a trip to the southwest next year. :)

Incredibly private mountain cabin with beautiful natural light. We went to Capitol Reef for the weekend and we would time our day so we would have extra time in the morning and evening because it was so pleasant. Amazing sunsets and stars!

The accommodation is very spacious, perfect for a large family. It was very comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. Communication with Curtis was uncomplicated and pleasant. The house is centrally located. There's a grocery store just around the corner. If we come back to Hanksville, we will book this accommodation again.

This was a lovely place to stay--quiet, clean, beautiful setting. There was a great trail right down the street for us to take our dogs for a long walk. The house was stocked with everything one could possibly need while away. One of our favorite vacation homes!

Just like the name, it was a million-dollar view house. It was an accidental find for our group since the trip was planned spontaneously, but it blew our minds away. We all felt lucky. Peaceful surroundings to unwind the stress and make us forget about the busy life in NY. This comfortable house has everything we needed, and a well-stocked kitchen was helpful.  Extra towels are easy to access throughout the house, and with many of us being women with long hair ...  It was a huge plus!! We did not have a chance to use the fire pit in the backyard due to strong winds every night. Maybe it was a sign to return next time to enjoy the place more. Collette was easy to communicate with, and clear instructions made us feel at home. This place was amazing, we absolutely loved Kristen’s touches for a perfect stay. The beds were very comfortable, the proximity to Capitol Reef was perfect and the views were unparalleled. We have already shared this listing with our friends and family for when they visit Capitol Reef!
