House vacation rentals in Wasco County

We had a great stay over the weekend. The staff at Collins Lake Resort were very friendly and communication was very clear. We had no trouble finding the location and checking in. Checkout instructions were clear and simple. The space was as described and was very clean and tidy upon arrival. Would definitely stay again. Thanks, Collins Lake Resort!

Place was just what we were looking for. Plenty of space the 4 of us to have our own rooms, and could have accommodated many more. Felt very private for being a condo, and had good cooking amenities. The pool, though lacking in aesthetic, was really warm and appeared to be cleaned daily, I enjoyed the evening swims. Thanks for sharing the lovely space!

This Airbnb is probably one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The friends with me were extremely impressed with my choice for this home. It’s spacious, and the view can’t be beat! The only thing I’ll mention is the house creeks at night with the wind, the first night it really threw us off but once we figured out what it was we felt much better. But overall, this space is a 10/10! Highly recommend.

We had another wonderful long weekend at this place! We loved it so much the first time, we visited a second time. This space was perfect for our group to spend time together and the kids had a blast. We love the pool, the views, and all the little extras that make this place special. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had a big group of 14 and the house accommodated us super well!!! We loved the movie room and pool! It allowed us to have a good time without needing to go anywhere.

Love, love, love! Emily has a beautiful apartment with convenient access to everything. Easy walking distance to the restaurants, next door to snow tubing, parking underground was a breeze and its quick ten minute drive to Timberline. The apartment itself is so smartly laid-out, with a hidden set of bunk beds that our little one adored, and there were tons of kid friendly games and kid items for use in the apartment. Super highly recommend!! We loved it here so much!!

Wow! What a wonderful home. I've never stayed in an airbnb so beautifully appointed. From the orchids in the window to the 90 degree swimming pool the whole stay was delightful. Spotlessly clean. All the spices and pots and pans you could ever use. Fresh coffee beans for the morning roast. Our hosts even left us a bottle of wine, bananas and huckleberry bread for our arrival! We come to this area once a year and will be staying at this home from now on. (Providing we can get it!) Truly an exceptional stay.

Our family of 4 stayed at Stephanie’s place and it was one of the best—if not the best—AirBnB experience we have ever enjoyed. Super clean space, exactly as shown in the pictures. We immediately felt at home. Loved the fireplace as the weather was chilly during our visit. Spotless kitchen, wonderful shower, comfortable beds in a serene location overlooking Columbia River. Stephanie told us where to get fresh, u-pick fruit, and even gave us a sample to whet our appetites. Highly recommend Stephanie’s accommodations and will definitely return if we’re ever back in Hood River!

I feel blessed to have found Christina’s place. This was the perfect spot to relax at the end of a long day of travel. The views were spectacular. The beds were comfortable the living room area was perfect for reading and watching tv (although I was looking out the window most of the time. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Even though it was shared with two other units, we still had our own space and it was quiet and relaxing! The place was SPOTLESS and we felt very safe staying there! Would MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND to anyone needing a place to stay in The Dalles!

Beautiful setting high up in the gorge. We were in town for a family event. This was a great location, close to the event and other activities. House was peaceful, instructions incredible. There were views from every room. The fenced in yard was particularly helpful for our small dog. Lots of areas to sit and enjoy the views.

Nice home on a quiet cul de sac. Plenty of room for our family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Michael’s house. There was plenty of room for all of us and we played pickle ball and frisbee golf! The deck has a great view of the river and we were lucky enough to have a visit or two from Michael’s adorable pups. This home is a great place to stay when you visit the Hood River area.

What a great place! Kristen was thoughtful and responsive about check in and we had a great weekend. We were near trails to hike on, wineries to visit, and spectacular sunrises. Would definitely return! Thank you.

Beautiful views- very comfy and clean home. Well stocked, killer comfy bed in master bedroom. Just a wonderful experience on every level. Thoughtful items left for us to enjoy too! I’d come back without a second thought!

We booked Alex’s place to celebrate a birthday in our family. The location is just a short walk to scenic trails and only a 5-minute stroll into town. Our family of nine had plenty of space to spread out, and there were activities for everyone to enjoy. The kids had a great time playing Jenga, while the adults appreciated the music from the entertainment center. It was a wonderful spot to relax and cozy up with blankets by the fireplace on chilly nights. We will definitely be returning!

We loved our stay! The house is clean and larger than we expected. The kids loved the foosball table and game console- we liked that they had their own living room space downstairs. The house is very comfortable and has high end features liked heated floors, an ice maker, hot tub, and full sized washer and dryer. The master shower is really nice! The house is in a great location- quick walk to the general store and restaurants (Ratskeller was family friendly and has an arcade upstairs) and only 15 minutes or so to ski at Mt Hood Meadows or Timberline. Also just a few minutes from the Mirror Lake hiking trail. This house seems much nicer than the other rentals in the area. We’d love to stay here again.

So Great!! definitely must stay if you're in Government Camp. spacious, clean and tidy, big open windows looking out over the trees, and you can even see Mt Hood right from the front yard!! definitely would stay again!

My son and I had a wonderful stay at Jill's place in Hood River. The property is in a convenient location (close to local grocery, cute bakery, downtown, etc.), yet the setting was very peaceful. We enjoyed strolling through downtown Hood River, eating a picnic lunch on the waterfront, and hiking the local trails with wildflowers in bloom! Jill's place is very comfortable, stylishly decorated, spacious, and clean. We appreciated the fun selection of games and puzzles, too! Jill was a great host and we will definitely come back to stay again in the future!

Highly recommend! Lovely, well appointed home with gracious, easy to communicate with host. The house was very clean, quiet and spacious with comfy beds. Bunk beds even worked for grown up kids :) The location is great for snow fun, getting to Mt Hood Meadows easily or going into Hood River. And Parkdale is only 5 minutes away if you're looking for a brewery, grocery, coffee shop, etc. We'll definitely look to stay here again when looking in Parkdale!

Sarah provided clear instructions for the house and was extremely responsive. We had an issue getting the AC to work and she came right out to get them fixed. The house itself was perfect for our family. It was right next to an incredible children’s park that our daughter loved and was so close to the main area of town that made it easy to go back and forth. We would definitely stay here again on another visit to Hood River.
