Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wasco County

House was awesome! Location was perfect for being close to many wineries, hiking, Parkdale, and Hood River. A beautiful setting to either just relax at the house or venture out. Would definately come back to this house!

We have been here a few times before and loved it! This was out third time staying here and it is starting to feel like home to us. Quiet, peaceful and a view of the Columbia River...what more could you want? I come here partly because of the close proximity to some great wineries, but also for the solitude. It is well-appointed and has everything we need...kitchen...sauna...hot tub...and a really nice deck out back! There is nothing quite like sitting on the deck, sipping great wine, and watching a flock of turkeys stroll by. Jodine was very accommodating when we decided to stay for a fourth day....all at the last minute, but not a problem! VERY cool ! I'm sure we will be staying here again soon. We had a great stay over the weekend. The staff at Collins Lake Resort were very friendly and communication was very clear. We had no trouble finding the location and checking in. Townhouse with impeccably cleaned, communication was great, check in and out were easy, parking in garage was easy and we had everything we needed. Pool and hot tubs were lovely, highly recommend!

Beautiful condo with a perfect view of little Collins Lake. Nice and close to everything, quiet, very clean (in fact, the carpet in the master bedroom was still damp when we arrived so it's obvious they cleaned those too!), well-stocked, easy check-in, etc. Love that the unit is dog-friendly too so we were able to bring our best bud. We'd definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying at Altitude Adjustment! Really cool place and layout, with plenty of room for everyone. Close walk to Government Camp and Skibowl. House is stocked with everything needed to have a fun, relaxing time! We will stay here again during our next trip to Mt. Hood!

The cabin was perfect for our long weekend getaway to the snow! We were able to walk to Government Camp for necessities, the shuttle to Timberline, and skibowl for cosmic tubing! the road to the house was difficult to get up with 2WD with tire socks but there is another road (plowed and de iced) you can take to the top of the hill. lots of sleeping space for 8 of us! with cozy beds and lots of pillows and blankets. games, movies, cooking spices and supplies.

We enjoyed the size of the home and that it was large enough to accommodate our extended family for meals. Peaceful yard with plenty of seating. Large table in dining area for our meals. Great place to get together to celebrate family.

Perfect for two families. Quiet with great view of Mount Hood. Kitchen had everything, beds comfortable, cozy fireplace and warm wood-stove. We all loved your book collection! And games. Thank you for lovey weekend in your home!

We have stayed at Charlie’s place several times before and it’s always welcoming, clean, and a nice place to spend time with family. Lots to do on the mountain and great restaurants in town with kitchen amenities if you want to cook or bake. Highly recommend! Thanks for another great stay, Charlie!

Nice place, good location for me beings it was close to where I grew up, and the salmon were running, unfortunately for me, work kept calling me away and didn’t get to stay there as much as I wanted to

This place was good place to stay in an amazing location and with great owners.

We had a wonderful time. The resort has an outdoor pool, a hot tub and sauna. Our unit was equipped with an espresso coffee machine, an Electric Crepe Maker & Griddle that we used for pancakes, beach towels, laundry detergent, etc. Nothing was missing, except for coffee filters. We felt right at home with added comfort and peace. We can't wait to go back!

Great unit. Very clean and family friendly. Cozy living room. Kitchen supplies were well-stocked. Kids enjoyed the multiple bunk beds. The heated garage was great in the snowy weather. Staff on site was helpful in resolving a frozen pipe issue.

This is a true gem, and the lodging was even better than the photos! We had a late arrival and the process was super smooth, thanks to our very responsive and helpful host. The location is perfectly tucked away next to beautiful pine trees and running water. Loved that it was also easy to walk to the restaurants and shops in town. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you're visiting Mt. Hood.

This is the closest you will come to ski-in, ski-out on Mt. Hood; very convenient short walk to the tubing hill and Ski Bowl. I appreciated that the condo was so well stocked with household items that you may have forgotten to bring; foil, plastic wrap, spices, cleaning supplies. Truly, it was the best stocked condo I've ever rented. They also had a wonderful supply of children's toys, sleds, games and even a play area for little ones. We had a great time and many thanks for all the thoughtful and considerate amenities.

Nice and comfy home. Loved how the beds/rooms were laid out! Lots of towels and blankets! Beds and pillows were nice! The kids LOVED having a TV in their room. Heat is locked at 65, which was OK. Was a little tricky to figure out how to get the fireplace to come on when we wanted it. Wish there would have been foil, plastic wrap, baggies, or something to store our leftovers. Loved that there were pictures to help organize the kitchen cabinets when unloading the dishwasher.
