We had an amazing stay at Phil and Trudy's place in Port Fairy. The instructions to find the house were clear, though the location was slightly tricky to navigate at first. However, it was absolutely worth it—the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, with quick and easy access to the beach. Phil and Trudy were fantastic hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even opened an extra room for us so we could work and take calls separately, which we truly appreciated. The house itself was a delight—filled with books and games to keep us entertained, including some exceptional reads about Port Fairy’s history. Plus, the nearby coffee spots were excellent, with friendly staff adding to the charm of the area. A perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Port Fairy. Highly recommend!

We were very happy with our stay! The property is a little away from the city, which made it peaceful and relaxing, yet still conveniently close to everything we needed. The view is absolutely beautiful, and the beds were super comfy – we slept really well. The garden is massive, and the kids really enjoyed their walk and time outdoors. The kitchen is a bit on the small side, but it had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great experience at this place. Wendy is a great host, she is friendly, we love her dogs coming over playing with our dog and us.

Steve and Anna’s place was great for exploring Port Fairy and the area. The location means an easy walk or drive into town and the accommodation in our cottage was very comfortable. Look out for the lovely friendly cat!

I had a really pleasant stay at Joanne’s place. The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and centrally located. It had a warm, welcoming feel and was perfect for a quiet, relaxing night. Parking was easy, and the outdoor space and verandah were a nice bonus. Joanne was a friendly and helpful host who made everything easy, from check-in to check-out. Her communication was clear, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches around the place. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re passing through or visiting the area. Our 'Old Market Inn' apartment was extremely fresh and clean with an extremely comfortable bed, made up with lovely bed linen. Everything needed, for a stay-away from home, was thoughtfully provided. Kelly is a caring host who thinks ahead to provide any extra comfort or need that may be required. Thank you, Kelly for our delightful week in this beautifully-restored, historic building which is situated in a quiet street within a few minutes walk to the centre of town, the river and the beach.

Beautifully furnished; great location close to main shopping/cafe/restaurant area yet very peaceful and quiet; spacious guest suite; lovely personal touches; extremely helpful host (we asked for ebike storage at the last minute and a spot was identified straight away); host proactively offered early checkin; and late checkout time was helpful; great value for money. We loved our stay and would highly recommend for a special stay in Port Fairy.
