Charmes du Velupont wellness house

Please note, Wellness is not included in the price. The “Charmes du Velupont” cottage is located in the picturesque village of Avennes in the heart of the Hesbaye region. This area is known for its rich vegetation and for its cultural and historical heritage. The cottage is overlooking the Mehaigne river, which is part of a protected nature reserve. “Charmes du Velupont” is a real heaven of peace with a stunning view on this silent valley.

Spoorweghut 'Miners' Accommodation'

Next to the station of Racour is the cottage of the piocheurs or railway workers. Previously, railway workers used this “barracks” to store their materials, eat their sandwiches, or even sleep. The classified building of 3 meters by 3 meters was completely rebuilt in 2015 in timber frame and masonry. It is now furnished as a comfortable hiker's cabin for 2 people. There are free bicycles at the disposal of our guests!

You are staying in a new apartment on the first floor of our house. The front door (little used by us) and the hall are common. The apartment has two bedrooms each with a double bed (160cm), a living room with built-in kitchen, bathroom with shower in bath and separate toilet. A baby bed, high baby chair, 2 trip stair chairs and a lounger table are provided.

Our glamping is located on bike junction 58, on the outskirts of the Getevallei with beautiful hiking and biking routes.
