This place is a hidden gem! We were so pleased that we happened to fluke this place as our stay before heading to Newcastle and were so pleased! It was such a quiet, peaceful place to stay. It’s out of the busyness of the city but close enough to everything if you need. Berowra waters is just down the road. We had two young children with us and found we had plenty of room for us all. The beds were SUPER comfortable, beautiful linens and had everything we could need. The host was very kind and helpful! The only downside was we didn’t stay longer. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a fantastic stay in Trudie and Andy’s apartment. It was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Trudie was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

We had a beautiful time! We didn’t spend much time at the BnB since we were out exploring — it’s super close to everything! It has all the great facilities you’d need if you just wanted to stay in, including dinnerware, a cooktop, and a COFFEE MACHINE! The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and everything was super clean, tidy, and spacious. Jennifer is so lovely and created an amazing stay for us!

Was greeted by Tracy on arrival. Tracy was great and informative. There’s a long narrow stairway down side of house to bottom of property where we stayed. May not be ideal for those who struggle to walk up and down flights of stairs but was no biggie for us! Clean and tidy Bedroom, Kitchen (with gas stove) and Bathroom/Laundry areas. Comfortable Lounge suite and outdoor lounging suite. There’s a slight clutter with furnitures in lounge/dining and outdoors but realised that the waterfront yard is not private unless Tracy has no guests on her other Airbnb listing which I was not aware of and that’s on me btw (for not reading up on it). BUT, once you see the water, the jetty and the wildlife in their elements, everything else are only minor things lol. Hubby caught some fish on the jetty but was unable to go out on boat due to wet and stormy weather. Nevertheless, all in all, it was a great time away from home and enjoyed our stay. Absolutely beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. It’s like your own private beach oasis right on the doorstep of Blacksmiths Beach and Granny’s Pool. The outdoor dining area was our favourite place to sit and enjoy a quiet breakfast and relax for dinner in complete privacy. The amenities are modern and everything you need - we didn’t want to leave! Easily the best place to stay in Blacksmiths!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. It was so clean, spacious and cozy. The kitchen is absolutely stunning and not to mention the amazing water views right out the front.

I loved Sarah's place. I stayed 2 nights here recovering from jet lag and working remotely while transiting through Sydney. I'd happily stay again. It's well equipped, light, quiet, and private. I was really happy to see the tea selection!

Great Stay just outside of Newcastle perfect for breaking up long drives along the coast, apartment was well equipped and really nice and clean! Would recommend to others looking to do the same.

Lovely place to stay, very comfortable & felt right at home. Nic & Alphie met us when we arrived at our door. Nothing was a problem & Nic was there to wish us a safe trip at the end of our stay. Would definitely stay again.

We had a beautiful couples’ trip at Sam’s place. She was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The spa was amazing and it was the perfect spot to relax in the evening. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious and easy to cook in. Overall it was a great experience!

Cosy little place within walking distance of shops and the beach. Very peaceful and quiet. Great shower for tall people. Lock up garage was a huge bonus. Would highly recommend this place for anyone with a dog as there is a dog friendly beach nearby, and the property has a fully fenced grass area. Alice and Andy gave easy to follow instructions for getting to the property and also great recommendations for the area. Their recommendations and house rules at the property came in a digital form of a QR code google doc which I thought was cool. Thank you for hosting, would definitely come here again! 👍🏻

We had a wonderful stay at Karen’s place! The guesthouse was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Karen was a kind and thoughtful host - responsive, welcoming, and respectful of our privacy. We truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and little touches that made us feel at home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Beautiful Stay at The Nest The Nest was the perfect home base for our getaway to Brooklyn. The space was spotless, beautifully styled, and really comfortable. It’s in a peaceful spot but just minutes from everything—ideal location! We did an oyster shucking experience, visited the Broken Bay Oyster Shed, and had an amazing dinner at A Chef Secrets—all within easy reach. The host was lovely and responsive, and the thoughtful touches made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this stay—we’d definitely come back!

We have stayed at Linda's place on several occasions and could not speak highly enough of the cleanliness; the amenities etc. and Linda and Ian's helpfulness. They never intruded but were always available by phone if needed. This is definitely our place to stay for a short break.

The peaceful lake setting, combined with the breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset, created the perfect escape. This is one of those places you’ll want to return to—and I definitely will!.

Absolutely beautiful spot and her yard was like an oasis. Always wary with on the street parking, but as location was in a quiet area, we were confident to leave our car on the street. The accommodation was as advertised, clean and comfortable. Nicole was an accommodating host as we had to change our booking several times, which wasn’t a bother. Would highly recommend this quaint cottage.

Was on top of the places we have stayed ever. Such peace, such privacy, such scenes, such sunset, you will not find anywhere. Availability of paddle boats and kayaks along with fishing rods and baits makes it more worth and fills your gap in the day. The host(Leah) is super responsive and thoughtful. She went above and beyond in every way we could expect. This was the real serenity. Thanks for such a lovely place to be available for couples to enjoy.❤️❤️
