Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Waltershausen

We had a lovely, albeit very wet Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years old)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high tick volume, but that's nobody's fault. However, you should prepare for a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The footpath to the house, which is slightly elevated, was a bit impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

There were two of us with our dog for a week in Beatrix's accommodation and we felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, nicely decorated and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are right on the property. This took a little nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her first that the goats are not eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

Beautiful weekend home from the first minute. Communication with Rebecca and Philipp was straightforward and warm. The house was perfect for 9 adults: lots of cozy corners for playing, chatting, reading or even working. Great amenities! The surroundings are an inexhaustible hiking paradise. You definitely need a car to get there and to go on excursions. We will be happy to come back!

Everything was great

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. The only thing missing in the description was that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best regards and thank you for the beautiful days in Thuringia.

We had a very nice stay at Oda in the small apartment. Everything necessary was available and everything was already set up for our dog. On request, we were able to use bicycles on site, with which we rode to Kassel city center. The surroundings are wonderfully quiet. Thank you, Oda!

Such a lovely cabin in a picturesque setting! We felt right at home There is everything you need for a quiet break. Heckmühle is a very sweet village with great people. We will be happy to come back.

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

The apartment was really nice and very clean, we immediately felt comfortable there. The decor was modern and well maintained, and there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only note: It would be helpful to mention in the description that the pool can only be used in summer. Otherwise, everything was great – happy to come back!

We had very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small town invites you to small and large hikes. If you get into the car, you can reach the famous sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the Schwarze Moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. Suitable for various outdoor sports and hiking tours. Highly recommended! We will definitely go back again.

We were guests at Thorben and Christina's time as guests of Thorben and Christina and it was once again very relaxed and beautiful in Machtlos. The place is cozy and nothing is missing. Our dogs also arrived quickly and we were able to enjoy the vacation very much. We'd love to come back! :-)

Good value for money. Marle and her husband were friendly and offered us pasta ingredients when we had mistakenly bought pizzas to bake, not realizing there was no oven in the house (our mistake – we should have read the information more carefully 🫣😅)

We had a completely successful stay at Nicole and Helga's! The apartment was very clean, lovingly decorated and well equipped – ideal for our three-day hiking holiday in the Thuringian Forest. Nicole and Helga are exceptionally warm and accommodating hosts. Upon arrival, we felt immediately welcome. Even during our stay, they were at our side with valuable tips about the surroundings. After extensive hikes in the beautiful nature of the Thuringian Forest, we were able to end the day in the evening relaxing on the balcony – simply wonderful! We spent an extended weekend with Wilma with our dog and were super satisfied. We felt very comfortable in Wilma's special, lovingly furnished house and spent relaxed and slow days. We especially liked the proximity to nature with the dog, the surroundings are really tranquil and there are great walking paths. Very nice hosts and wonderful house. Very nice place to unwind and take excursions to the surrounding area. There was nothing missing and everything was very well maintained and functionally furnished.

Our stay was super nice, the chalet met and partly exceeded our expectations. Particularly beautiful is the quiet location and the great view from the balcony. What you should definitely know as a parent of toddlers is that there is no real blackout and the house is extremely noisy. For a short vacation, however, you can arrange it and there is no deduction for it, as it may be less important for others🌞☺️.
