Family-friendly vacation rentals in Walpole

Not my first visit to the YURT hopefully will not be my last . Ideal place to retreat to away from the busyness of the city or town . Wildlife , stars , trees . Simple yet comfortable, less really is more ! Thank you for having me back hope to visit again soon .

Amazing property owned by an amazing couple. Kids really lover the playground outside and feeding the animals. The wife and I enjoyed the peace while the kids were busy on the lawn. We will be back for sure

Fantastic place for an active couple - great feel, beautiful deck and view. The birds will pay a visit every morning and night...they are clearly used to being fed! Good support if required- we had a problem with hot water, and the local manager Kaz was very quick to respond and help us get it going again. Upside : location, views, kitchen well stocked, nice bed, overall look and feel. Even better if : Some basic toiletries would be nice. Downside : nothing specific for us, however my observation would be that if you have a problem getting up lots of stairs, this is not the place for you. Also, definitely only for 2 adults in my opinion...the mezzanine isn't a practical sleeping area for adults and the bathroom is small...way too small for 4 adults to share in my opinion. Maybe 2 older kids would think it was pretty cool. Overall we were really pleased we picked the Tree House, and would absolutely recommend it if heading to Denmark.

We had wonderful stay and every room was spacious and comfortable..

private grounds with beach and Inlet. almost feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. the house is within a large private compound, with a small lake, some wild animals and a few walking trail. you can walk about 2 km to a private beach view access. kitchen is large and there are 2 dining tables, separate living and tv area. we also has the chance to see the some kangaroos on the 600+ acre property. absolutely beautiful place. expect privacy and quiet solitude. great for large groups. the place is a little dated and old, but clean and well maintained. everything's in working condition and well equipped kitchen. about 25 to 30mins drive to Albany town centre.

Great location. Close enough to town but far enough out to feel like you're one with nature.

It was the perfect home for our extended family unit to relax and enjoy the local attractions. We loved your home and it was a privilege to be able to stay there , thankyou. Clean and comfortable with every facility that we needed.

We loved staying at Jennifer’s. There was plenty of space for everyone, just a quick walk to the beach, ample parking and she was easily contacted. The house was perfect for our large group.

I feel completely reset by the serenity of this wonderful cabin. It was deliciously cosy and the view allowed such an incredible experience of each day. And what night skys. Glorious. And to top it all off, the arrangement of the cabin furniture all fits the asthetic perfectly, down to the kettle and beehive shelving. There is even the softest linen sheets. Thank you both so much for this holiday.

Quinninup is a favourite place for us to visit and we wouldn’t stay anywhere other than here. Very peaceful and relaxed home vibe, plus exceptional value for money and Tessa always responds swiftly to enquiries :) This is our second time staying at this listing and we will definitely be back - 5 stars!!

An amazing stay with so much beauty surrounding you! Our surprise was the animals around the accommodation which made it so much fun for us as a family! Standing up and see the mountains and the sheep, alpacas, chickens and turkeys! We can’t wait to come back! Third time we've stayed here. Feels like a home away from home. Very comfortable and very clean and within walking distance to town and great cafes. Our little puppies also enjoyed the small closed in backyard for their play-time.

Gordon is one of the most generous and friendly host we’ve had the pleasure of staying with. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and breakfast provisions, the ambience is so peaceful and relaxing. Our dogs settled in well despite wanting to play with the Llamas. This is my third stay with Gordon and surely won’t be the last. Top notch!

This was our second time staying and it was just as good as the previous time. Great location, tranquil and quiet within easy drive to two local dog beaches that our pooches love. Will definitely be returning again.

This is a really special place. Probably the nicest air BnB I have ever stayed in. It’s a beautiful house surrounded by the bush but only a 5 min drive from the town. The house itself has a great style, high ceilings and large windows everywhere to take advantage of the beautiful nature outside. The decor is gorgeous, a 1960s art aesthetic with beautiful paintings and objects around every corner. We stayed in every night by the fire to drink local wine and cook in the fully kitted out kitchen. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Our second time staying at the Mudbrick barn and it was such a lovely stay. Petrina and Paul are great hosts. Will definitely be back again soon!

A lovely house in a peaceful setting surrounded by natural bush. We could only hear the birds and the sound of waves crashing from Ocean Beach. All the amenities you require for self catering and a very clean and tidy space. We really enjoyed it.

This place was in a very good location, on the main street, IGA across the road. Very comfortable for 4 adults. It was clean and tidy. Sean was easy to communicate with and we were given clear instructions for check in.

What a wonderful stay! Stuart was an absolutely fantastic and friendly host! The house was perfect for us and our parents with the two separate ends with bedrooms! We loved everything about our stay- especially the alpacas and kangaroos! It was bliss. Stuart is fantastic to meet and chat to and made us feel so comfortable and at home. Lovely break - We enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing seven-day break. Our base was spacious, spotless, and comfortable—perfectly situated for easy car access to all the highlights the region has to offer. A beautiful forest walk was right on our doorstep, and the outdoor area was ideal for soaking in both serene sunrises and breathtaking sunsets. Oona was a fantastic host, and we truly appreciated her thoughtful tips and local recommendations.
