Cozy Cottage Hideaway

KarenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a baseball tournament in Salisbury and it was a perfect location. the way our games were set up we didn't have much time to enjoy the outdoor area! The only downside is the hot water doesn't last long so you have to move with purpose! They did mention it wasn't set up for longer showers. Thanks for having us!

Chalet Style Home, private country setting

AprilRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I recently stayed at Crooked Elm and was thoroughly impressed. The place was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner. The host's responsiveness was top-notch! One feature that stood out was the guest binder. It was incredibly detailed, providing clear instructions on everything from using the fireplaces to local attractions and dining recommendations. This made it easy to settle in and feel at home. It had everything we needed for a cozy stay! Overall, my stay at Crooked Elm was delightful, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-managed retreat.

Jay's Retreat

SteveRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Words just can’t describe how great of a time we had at Jays Retreat. Everything was labeled and easy to find. First rental that had everything you need and I mean everything. The views, crabbing at the dock, kayaking the canal at sunset, eating on the screened in porch, and so much more made this trip probably one of the best we ever taken to the island. Slept 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs comfortably. Mosquitoes were a nuisance but thats any where on the island. We rode electric scooters into the town which was maybe a 10 minute ride. Water was hot, AC was on point. Kevin was very responsive and even provided an early check in. Appreciate everything about this trip!! Just sad it had to end! Can’t wait until next time.

We did a job on Wallops Island and George’s place was very close and ideal for me and my 2 guys. There is plenty of space and we were not missing anything. We will soon return.

Waterfront Cottage in Mt. Vernon

ChristinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing stay at Melanie’s waterfront home! The location was absolutely perfect right on the water with stunning views and peaceful surroundings. We loved having access to the kayaks, grill, and outdoor furniture it made it easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the neighborhood was quiet with super friendly neighbors. Melanie was a fantastic host thoughtful, responsive, and even left us a list of local restaurant recommendations, which turned out to be excellent! This spot was exactly what we were looking for, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Holly Cove’s “Tiny” Guesthouse

HugoRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Just returned from an amazing two-day stay at Martha's guest home. While the house is small, it's thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable. The setting is absolutely beautiful and tranquil — just a short walk to the water, where we swam, paddled kayaks, and relaxed on the wooden pier. Evenings with bubbly and mornings with coffee by the water made for unforgettable moments. Although the guest house is next to the hosts’ property, it still felt wonderfully private. Martha and Buck were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. This is a perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. Highly recommended!

Super clean place and a great walkable location to the main strip of shops and restaurants. Amy provided clear instructions and we loved the selection of board games to wind down after a fun filled day!

cozy sunset cottage

ElizabethRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Christy's Cottage was very comfortable and pet friendly. It was close to everything we wanted to do, and the kitchen was fully stocked. You can tell why she is considered a Superhost. We enjoyed our stay there, and would certainly consider returning. If you are going to see the ponies, we recommend Captain Mike with Up The Bay Pony Tours. Chincoteague and Assateague are lovely places to visit. Bring your camera if you are a nature lover. Pets aren't allowed on Assateague Island (not even in your car), but at Christy's we were able to leave our pups in their crates for a little while so that we go.
