Vacation rentals with breakfast in Wakayama

To start off, come in with the expectations that you're staying at a Japanese grandparent's home where it feels like they could be my own even. Yasuto is a kind and caring grandpa who helped me in so many ways like picking me up from the station, driving me to the nearest supermarket to make sure I had food for the first night, and overall making feel relaxed as I could be in their home. His wife is also as kind as to help me out with laundry and cooking up a nice Western style breakfast if you want. The actual room was very furnished with tatami mats, futon, and even a kotatsu. It was a nice traditional Japanese room for sure. You have access to big shower room, washer, and kitchen. It's really close to the beach, so I'd imagine its very popular during summertime, but even then Kada is a charming town itself. If you're lucky, you could even visit Tomogashima for the day if the ferry is running too. Overall, I would definitely come back if I had the chance!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Its an interesting building with a pop-café in the basement run by lovely people, while the bedrooms and living room are upstairs. The hosts kindly offer bento boxes and were very flexible with our order. Can only recommend staying here!

This place is beautiful, peaceful and close to nature. Miyuki is easy to communicate with and responsive. The place is super nice, very clean and neat. The breakfast is simple yet very very homey and delicious. We wish we stayed much longer here. Locationwise is near the Gojo city so plenty of big supermarket, restaurants, etc. Recommended to drive so can explore this area better. We live the peaceful morning walk around the house. Thank you sooo much, Miyuki! Hope will be back here again in the future.

The accommodation is very quiet and cozy, so we immediately felt at home. We got a delicious homemade breakfast and the communication was very caring and easy. We were surprised by how beautifully and with how much attention to detail the rooms are furnished. We would stay here again and again or even for a longer stay. Thank you 🧡

You don’t want to miss this peaceful community if you have couple of nights to spend in Kada. なるさんand her family are very friendly, she will guide you to the octopus and even traps used for hunting!

Excellent place to stay near Nachi falls. Our host was probably the most welcoming and responsive airbnb host I have ever booked with. The mattresses are also incredibly comfortable if you are a westerner that has never slept on that mattress style. Thank you again for the stay!

We cannot say enough about the hosts- a few notches above the superhost rating they already have. They became family within minutes and will be in our hearts and memories forever. We actually prayed for (and got) one rainy day so we could stay at home and just soak in the ambiance. Fumi san makes the most amazing breakfasts and she’ll share her cooking secrets freely. We had the most memorable experience with Fumi and Toshi and will always remember them fondly. An amazing experience.

Staying here was a very friendly and homely experience. The hosts welcomed us personally and were very lovely. They cooked us an incredible breakfast, which we couldn't believe the size of! Overall, this was a home from home.
